Box Cutter - S4-E1

Revealing mistake: In the scene where Hank is on his laptop bidding on a mineral on 'Mineral Emporium', the address bar shows 'C://.' which means the web-page is in his own documents on his laptop. No way he can bid on a mineral if it's not online! (00:24:15)

Box Cutter - S4-E1

Continuity mistake: When Gus Fring kills Victor and throws him to the ground, a stream of blood runs between Pinkman's and White's legs. When the angle cuts, the stream is now a puddle around Victor's head, no blood near the legs.

Box Cutter - S4-E1

Continuity mistake: When Pinkman and White are having breakfast in the diner, the items on the table keep changing in each shot. Specifically, the jelly, the milk, the cup with the cream and, most noticeably, the rolled napkin with the cutlery inside: Sometimes folded, others opened.

Box Cutter - S4-E1

Continuity mistake: When Gus starts to walk away from where he killed Victor, he drops the Box Cutter, and we see it landing. However, after a cut to the next shot, its position has changed. It is no longer sitting on the line in the floor, and it is pointing 180° in the other direction. We can also see from Walt's shadow that the Box Cutter has moved quite a bit further away from Walt. Box Cutter - S4-E1

Continuity mistake: During the diner scene when Jesse is eating, Walt asks him how he's doing. Jesse's head changes positions several times between shots. From looking out of the window, to back down at his plate, to back out of the window, to straight ahead again, all between shots.

Caballo sin Nombre - S3-E2

Trivia: There is a scene in this episode where Walter angrily tosses a box of pizza in the air in such a way that the pizza exits the box and lands on his roof. Before filming this scene, the crew had wondered how many takes would be required to achieve the desired result. Bryan Cranston nailed it on the first try.

Chosen answer: There are several possibilities. Gus primarily does it to make an example out of Victor. Victor is one of Gus' most loyal henchman, and yet he had no problem killing him. Meaning it doesn't matter how loyal or valuable Walt is, he can still be killed and it won't bother Gus. However, Walt tells Jesse that perhaps Victor "flew too close to the sun." Meaning, Victor over stepped his bounds by learning how to cook meth. Gus didn't appreciate Victor's initiative and Gus only wants his employees to do the job they're given. Again, telling Walt and Jesse to do their job or else.

I think it was a combination of anger over Gayle's death and Victor being seen by witnesses makes Victor very vulnerable and therefore a dangerous liability to Fringe's empire.

By this point, the mugshot of Victor will have been spread around as a suspect in Gail's death. Victor had been come too hot to handle, so to say, so had to go.
