New this week Continuity mistake: A little boy finds a tarantula at the start of the episode and picks it up, letting it crawl over his hands. In the overhead shot of his hands, it shows him letting it crawl up his left wrist and start to get on his sleeve. But in the next shot from in front, suddenly the spider is in the middle of both his hands crawling over them.Quantom X
New this week Continuity mistake: After Gus goes to the restroom, there's a shot of the cartel leader smoking a cigar as he turns to look at Jesse. The cigar is burnt down nearly to the band around it where his fingers are. When it cuts to a different angle to him taking it out of his mouth, suddenly there is much more cigar left above that band.Quantom X
New this month Continuity mistake: After Walt makes the ricin poison and Jesse is holding it in the little vial, the position Jesse is holding it changes between shots. Holding it in one hand up looking at it from side angles, to the front angle view him holding it more outstretched and in both hands.Quantom X
New this month Continuity mistake: After Walt and Junior are about to go see Hank's mineral collection, Hank's front door is still open. The camera cuts to Hank for a moment as he turns his wheelchair to move down the hall and Walt and Junior soon follow. In the next shot, suddenly the front door has closed by itself. There was not enough time for Walt to have closed it and it would have been heard if he did.Quantom X
New this month Continuity mistake: During the diner scene when Jesse is eating, Walt asks him how he's doing. Jesse's head changes positions several times between shots. From looking out of the window, to back down at his plate, to back out of the window, to straight ahead again, all between shots.Quantom X
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the shootout starts in the previous episode, Walter is handcuffed in the back of the SUV and trying to get to the floorboard to avoid the gunfire, and his glasses eventually fall off. After the gunfight when he is yelling at Jack from the back of the SUV, his glasses are back on his face, which would be hard to do handcuffed.
Continuity mistake: When Walter drops the plate, it shatters into four pieces, with one piece sliding to the edge of the frame, where it stops without splitting further. The other three are in clear view and are in three intact parts. We cut away and back, and now the piece on the right is suddenly shattered into several smaller pieces. Also, the fourth piece that slid out of frame is still there when Walt wakes up, and he picks it up with the rest. The piece that Krazy-8 grabbed was too small to be one of the original four pieces the plate split into, and the piece closest to him didn't shatter further. In addition, when Walter reassembles the plate, the pieces don't match up with what they were in the basement. After the mysterious second shattering, there should be 8 total pieces of plate. If the piece Krazy-8 grabbed broke off from another part, that would mean 9 pieces. Yet Walt's reconstructed plate has only 6 parts plus the gap for Krazy-8's piece. Also, the final plate has smaller pieces at opposite ends, which wouldn't be possible given where the quadrants broke. Walter reassembles the plate upside down, so the part on top to the left of the gap (combined with the piece that is missing) is likely the piece that slid toward Krazy-8. So the large solid piece to the right of the gap would have been the piece that shattered into 5 pieces, but it is intact here. There is also a smaller piece between the piece Krazy-8 could have broken his piece from and the piece next to it, but this piece couldn't have come from either piece when the plate broke or if Krazy-8 broke his piece off the other piece. When Walter picked the pieces up, the piece closest to Krazy-8 was a single piece. (00:23:50 - 00:36:50)Vader47000
Revealing mistake: At the end of the episode when Tuco shows up at Walter's house in the backseat of Jesse's car, he tells Walter to get in. As they drive off, the shot pans out to show the street sign across from Walter's house. The sign says Piermont, which is the real name of the street. In the show, the Whites live on Negra Arroyo Lane. (00:48:00)
Walter White: Who are you talking to right now? Who is it you think you see? Do you know how much I make a year? I mean, even if I told you, you wouldn't believe it. Do you know what would happen if I suddenly decided to stop going into work? A business big enough that it could be listed on the NASDAQ goes belly up. Disappears. It ceases to exist, without me. No, you don't know who you're talking to, so let me clue you in. I am not in danger, Skyler. I AM the danger. A guy opens his door and gets shot, and you think that of me? No! I am the one who knocks!
