Other mistake: When Johnny and Roy are at the house with the three wild, obnoxious boys who terrorized their sitter, Johnny takes her blood pressure with the cuff, while Roy takes her respiration and pulse as he looks at his wrist for the second-hand countdown, but the problem is that Roy isn't even wearing his watch, and the actor has a bizarre look on his face when he looks at his naked wrist. He then tells Johnny that her pulse is 140 and respiration is 35. When the ambulance attendants arrive, Roy is wearing his watch. If he had his watch he should have used it for the pulse and respiration.
Visible crew/equipment: When Johnny is reading out loud from a transcript, while he and Roy head to the tape review meeting in the staff lounge, just after they turn the corner, the three tape marks are visible on the floor. One is for Johnny near the door, and two are for Roy - the first mark for where he originally stands and the second one for when he walks back over to Johnny.
Visible crew/equipment: When Roy, Johnny, and Morton leave the staff lounge talking about Brice, they stop at the nurses’ station, and when Johnny and Roy walk away, the two actors’ tape marks are visible where Morton is still standing and where Roy had just been standing. Additionally, the outlines of the lavalier mic transmitters are visible on the left sides of Roy's and Johnny's shirts, particularly when they stop at the fountain.
Other mistake: When Roy and Johnny are waiting in the staff lounge for Dr. Morton, Johnny opens the newspaper's sport's section and sees Brice's picture. In the page's close-up, two paragraphs in two unrelated articles are the same, and they also have nothing to do with the title of the articles. The first paragraph begins, "Thus at this conference all our governments..." and the second begins, "Of no less importance was the common recognition..."
Continuity mistake: After watching Brice's interview on TV, all the guys sit down at the table to eat dinner, and there is one jar of mustard on the table. When Roy smears mustard on his bun, Chet motions for the mustard with his eyes and Roy slides it over to him to use, but in the next few shots the open jar of mustard is either in front of Roy or Chet, depending on the angle of the shot. The milk container keeps switching places as well.
Continuity mistake: While Brackett and Morton are working on the boy who was shot with a pellet gun, when Morton is about to intubate the boy, we see that the O2 mask has been removed from his face and lying behind the boy's head, but when Morton hooks up the hose to the ventilator, we see the O2 mask and its elastic are still around the boy's neck. Then when Brackett says, "Prep him," the mask is gone.
Visible crew/equipment: At the site of the back hoe accident, after the ambulance arrives, when the father of the girl who's trapped under the back hoe gets up and starts walking away from Roy, the reflection of set array lighting is visible on the surface of Squad 51.
Continuity mistake: When Johnny and Roy are in the staff lounge waiting for Dr. Morton, Johnny's holding the newspaper's sports page, and in the page's close-up, there is a large picture of Brice centered between two columns of articles. However, when Johnny's talking to Roy and Dr. Morton, that page is entirely different even though he hasn't turned the page.
