Doctor Who

The Impossible Astronaut - S6-E2

Continuity mistake: When the Doctor is shot and killed while trying to regenerate on the beach, he falls with both legs extended. When River, Amy and Rory run up to him his left leg is bent. The camera cuts away again, and when it cuts back to show the Doctor's body one more time both legs are straight again. In addition, his left arm changes position between shots, between stretched out pointing away from his body on close-ups to bent with his hand resting on his thigh in wider shots. (00:08:15)

The Impossible Astronaut - S6-E2

Revealing mistake: When the Doctor is struck by the green light emitted from the astronaut, his right thigh momentarily disappears due to the animation. (This is even more visible when looking at the still of this shot on the Doctor Who website). (00:07:06)

The God Complex - S6-E12

Continuity mistake: As Lucy goes down the hall, she opens door 214, then 215. As she comes to the next door on the right, she opens 214 again, rather than it being 216. This is particularly noticeable because the third room she enters is "her" room, containing her greatest fear - and the first room she went into numbered 214 had a completely different fear. The Doctor's Wife - S6-E5

Character mistake: Idris (the human form of the TARDIS) berates the Doctor because the doors of the TARDIS open inwards, pointing to the notice on the left hand door which says 'pull to open'. Whilst it is true that police boxes did open outwards, the notice is actually referring to the telephone in the small recess behind the notice. The public are instructed to 'pull to open' the small door to access the phone. Consequently, the small door does open correctly, as in the notice. (00:23:50)

The Impossible Astronaut - S6-E2

Audio problem: When the Doctor sits in the Oval Office chair, Secret Service Agents aim their revolvers at him. As they do, the sound of a pistol slide racking is heard. None of them are doing anything except raising and aiming their revolvers at him.

Matdan97

The Wedding of River Song - S6-E14

Continuity mistake: When River sits down by the table as she and Amy are talking and drinking wine, in shots of River, Amy's wineglass is sitting on the corner of the table. In shots of Amy, the glass is first absent, then Amy reaches over, grabs it and takes a sip before resting it on the table with her hand holding the stem, whereas her hand is in her lap in shots of River. Closing Time - S6-E13

Continuity mistake: When the Doctor overhears Alfie crying while stirring something in the kitchen, he has the spoon in his hand in the close-up, but his hand is suddenly empty in the wide shot. (00:23:02)

Night Terrors - S6-E10

Continuity mistake: When Purcell is sinking into his carpet, just after a shot where he's shown having sunk into the floor up to his waist, we see a shot focusing on his dog where Purcell's legs are visible as he falls forward onto his hands, despite his legs having already been pulled under. Let's Kill Hitler - S6-E9

Continuity mistake: When the Doctor is talking to the Voice Interface Amelia, when he starts saying that "Scotland's never conquered anywhere, you know, not even a Shetland", his left arm, which was stretched out along the railing in the previous shot, is suddenly lowered. (00:27:28)

Chosen answer: The Master knows that deep down, he deserves death for the crimes that he's committed throughout his life, and since he regards The Doctor as his arch-foe, he expects it to be at his hands. The fact that The Doctor is still willing to forgive him for all of his crimes hurts him more deeply than death would.
