Road Pirates - S2-E5
Factual error: When Roscoe tries the same jump the Dukes did, his car goes nose first into the wall of the ravine. Upon a close up, Roscoe is fine, but not wearing a seatbelt. According to physics, he should go through the windshield or get cut up.
Factual error: Throughout this entire season, Bo and Luke left Hazzard to become Nascar drivers. This wouldn't be allowed as part of their probation legally prevents them from leaving Hazzard County.
Suggested correction: First off, in s01e01, the show starts where it had already been a year since Bo and Luke were put on probation. However, they were only given 5 years probation and this takes place in season 5. However, in the show they were allowed to leave Hazzard County with permission from a parole officer, so even assuming they're still on probation, they could have had permission without showing it on screen.
Factual error: While the boys are chasing Marlowe in town after he takes Price's gun, he fires at them. He fires eight shots out of a six shooter without reloading. Also, Luke puts an arrow into the car to stop Marlowe, and steam comes out. But the arrow is too far back to have hit the radiator, and it only went in about an inch, far too high to have even touched the radiator.
Factual error: The Duke Boys drive around in a blue car instead of their General Lee.
Suggested correction: This is a plot point of the storyline, not any kind of a mistake. At the start of this episode, we hear Bo and Luke talking while Rosco is chasing them, and Bo says, "How does he know it's us if it ain't even our car." It's mentioned a few times during this episode, including by narrator, Waylon Jennings. Bo and Luke are driving a "1975 blue Plymouth Fury" as noted by its owner, Cooter Davenport, who was running the moonshine for Boss Hogg.
