Mr. Monk and the Employee of the Month - S3-E7

Audio problem: There is a high-pitched feedback noise that is only audible every time one particular camera is being shown during this scene. (00:10:35)

Mr. Monk and the Earthquake - S1-E11

Mr. Monk and the Panic Room - S3-E2

Audio problem: When Darwin is screaming at the bald landlord, his mouth isn't always moving.

Mr. Monk Gets Cabin Fever - S3-E12

Audio problem: At the start, the car stops at the gas station (weirdly far from the pumps, for a start). Grooms talks to Monk then walks to the back holding the nozzle, stretching the hose taut, despite no filler cap on that side of the car. We cut to Monk, and we hear a clunk of Grooms attaching the nozzle (to what?). Later Grooms is still holding the nozzle, and as Monk goes inside Grooms is just wandering around aimlessly holding it.

Mr. Monk Is on the Run (2) - S6-E16

Audio problem: Toward the end of the episode, Mr. Monk runs out to stop the Governor's car before it crosses the banner and blows up. The first time that he yells out that "There is a bomb", you can see that Mr. Monk's mouth is not moving to say those words.

Mr. Monk and the Employee of the Month - S3-E7

Audio problem: The audio of the victim screaming is repeated. The "Oh! Help! Help!" sounds the same twice. (00:02:05)

Mr. Monk and the Lady Next Door - S7-E12

Audio problem: Two words near the beginning of Monk and Marge's dinner conversation are audibly spliced. When Marge says "what does a", the word "a" is cut off at the beginning; and when Monk says "detective does" in his response, the end of the word "does" is cut off during the s. (00:15:15)

Mr. Monk and the Astronaut - S4-E14

Audio problem: When the astronaut is speaking and we hear "I made a mistake, Captain. Five years ago," his lips don't match what we hear him saying. (00:11:10)

Mr. Monk Buys A House - S7-E1

Audio problem: When Natalie is saying "it" in the phrase "I still don't hear it", her voice sounds different than in the rest of the sentence, as it was audibly spliced in two. They used two different takes and combined them. (00:03:45)

Mr. Monk and the Red Herring - S3-E10

Audio problem: In the last line of the episode, the end of the word "spider" that Natalie is saying is cut off. It sounds like "spi." (00:42:05)

Mr. Monk Takes Manhattan - S3-E1

Audio problem: The captain can be seen speaking, but no audio of him is heard. (00:14:10)

Mr. Monk Goes to the Hospital - S5-E16

Audio problem: When Monk is saying "motive" in the phrase "this one had a motive", the word is spliced in two, as they used two different takes and combined them. Very robotic. (00:28:55)

Mr. Monk Goes Camping - S8-E12

Audio problem: At the beginning of Season 8 Episode 12, the round analog dial clock on Monk's nightstand beeps like a battery operated digital travel clock would, and Monk looks over at it. But in Season 8 Episode 16 (at about 38 minutes), that very same clock has a bell type ring that one would expect of a wind up analog dial type clock. (00:01:00 - 00:38:00)

Mr. Monk Goes Camping - S8-E12

Audio problem: "Mr. Monk Goes Camping": When Monk sees the bear, his scream is too-obviously dubbed over with a woman's voice. (In all the previews and commercials for this episode, however, he's shown screaming in his own voice.) (00:27:05)

Mr. Monk Visits a Farm - S5-E14

Character mistake: When Randy Disher is having Chinese food in his apartment with his new girlfriend in 3-12 "Mr. Monk Gets Cabin Fever", he gets a fortune stating that he is going to get money from his uncle, and says that he doesn't have an uncle. In this episode Randy inherits a farm from his uncle who appears to have committed suicide, but was actually murdered.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: Randy says when that uncle dies that they were never close, so his leaving him the farm comes as a total surprise. It's still a character mistake, however, Randy is established as the sort of person who could "blank out" a relative that long-lost.

Mr. Monk Goes to Mexico - S2-E2

Trivia: According to co-producer Tom Scharpling, the Mexican homicide cops are purposely written as parodies of Stottlemeyer and Disher, right down to their attitudes, their ranks, their suits, and Captain Alameda's mustache. Even the bumbling lieutenant's name is a little joke on Disher. Plato means "dish" in Spanish.

Mr. Monk and the Class Reunion - S5-E6

Question: In this episode, Monk discovers that Kyle intends to murder his wife Dianne and then make it look like suicide. Why would he do that? I've watched the whole episode and still can't figure out the reason.

Answer: You can hear Kyle talk to his "mistress" on the phone when he is at the ice cooler in the hotel, thereby making it clear he has an "extramarital" affair, thereby outing his motive to get rid of the wife who brought the money into the her life insurance, supposedly.

Answer: When Dianne was in college, she had attempted to commit suicide and even wrote a suicide note. Dianne saved the note this whole time and Kyle had found it. If Kyle killed Dianne and made it look like a suicide, the suicide note would be authentic (rather than having to try and forge a suicide note that could be proven to be fake). This is why Kyle arranged for specific activities to occur that seemed odd to Monk, the dog having the same name, the missed pass that broke the glass, etc. These were all mentioned in the original suicide note.

Answer: It speaks for your character that you cannot relate to his reasons. But he wants her dead, because he is having an affair and since all their money is coming from her father and his high paying job is also not his gain but another grant of her father he would very likely loose everything if he divorced her for another woman. And as the other answer mentions already he sees his opportunity to get away with it by re-enacting the circumstances as described in her 25-year old suicide note.
