Is There a Doctor in the House? - S1-E13

Plot hole: Lots of factors here: The doctors end up with the opposite kids that they were supposed to have... Why didn't they simply switch in the first place rather than go through all the drama? Also, the male doctor admits Alice let him in and most likely Alice would have told him first door on the right (like she's given directions in other episodes) to locate Peter. And the biggest question of all is, what doctor would make a house call and not look for their patient rather than just ending up with someone else they were not called to see (remember, each parent called their own doctor to see their biological kid).

Suggested correction: The lady doctor goes to see Peter as Mrs. Brady directs her to Peter's room first. Alice likely knows Peter already has a doctor looking after him, as it can be assumed Carol told her, so she sends the male doctor to Jan's room likely explaining to him that Mike's new daughter is also sick and needs to be checked. As to why they didn't solve this doctor problem to begin with; simply they are still a new family and didn't yet think about this as this is the first time the kids are sick.

Quarterback Sneak - S5-E9

Other mistake: When the boys are playing football in the backyard, watch Greg's right foot - at one point he slips on the Astroturf lawn, causing it to wrinkle and exposing a seam on the "grass" lawn. (00:03:20)

Suggested correction: At no time in the show did they affirm the grass in the backyard is real. Many houses, particularly out west where the show takes place, have artificial grass as it's often easier than caring for real grass which tends to dry up easily out west or not grow at all in some areas. Even in A Very Brady Renovation they made sure to use artificial grass for the backyard.

The grass is supposed to be real. There are several episodes where they are mowing the lawn.

But the renovation show was in 2019. In the early 70s artificial grass was only starting to be adopted in sports stadiums. Not used in homes until many years later.

Suggested correction: He did cry right after that. Carol hugged him while he was softly crying.

Adios, Johnny Bravo - S5-E1

Plot hole: Greg Brady is suppose to be under 21 so he can't legally sign any type of contract, also at the end he rejects his new persona and tears up the contract. Tearing up a contract doesn't nullify it.

Suggested correction: This is correct, however, it's not unlikely for this to happen at this time period. There were several cases in the 70s where they had individuals who were over 17 but under 21 sign contracts as it wasn't a widely known law to the public yet. One of the most notable being David Cassidy. As having Greg sign it would make the contract void to begin with, they wouldn't bother coming after him for not fulfilling his contract as it wasn't legal anyway.

The Babysitters - S2-E2

Other mistake: Near the end when Greg goes into the living room to call the police, he picks up the phone receiver and says into it "Jan, hang up the phone, I have to make an important call." But Jan was in the TV room, watching the TV, sitting next to Marcia.

Suggested correction: The phone is sitting next to her on the couch and you can see she's on the phone.

54-40 and Fight - S1-E15

Question: Would someone please explain to me why Marcia did not just simply remove her dangly bracelet that endangered the girls standing in the house of cards competition after Carol said "Oh Marcia, Marcia, your bracelet"? It would have made it less stressful on her not to mention her team, and she wouldn't have had to restrain it with her other hand.

Answer: There were several episodes throughout the run of the show where Marcia was infatuated with a guy she went to school with. This bracelet could have been a gift from her then-boyfriend; as such, she would not want to take it off, as a sign of loyalty. A stupid thing to do, of course, but it's not a mistake for a character simply to be dumb.

Matty Blast

Answer: The dangling bracelet was used for dramatic purposes - to keep the audience on edge.
