5 O'Clock Charlie - S2-E2

Other mistake: During this episode, Trapper and Hawkeye keep switching Frank's pistol with other things. When Frank's training his South Korean platoon, Trapper, Hawkeye, and Radar show up all decked out, and while Hawkeye's telling Frank that using the anti-aircraft gun on the compound will draw enemy planes, etc., there's a pistol in Frank's holster. When Frank turns around, we see that Trapper's right arm is bent over his fly swatter the entire time until he steps away from Frank, and when Frank draws from the holster what he believes is the pistol, he pulls out a plunger, and although it's funny, Trapper never actually had the opportunity to switch the pistol with the plunger, nor did Hawkeye or Radar.

The Army-Navy Game - S1-E20

Continuity mistake: Right after Radar tells Henry to forget about the game there's an explosion, and when Radar shouts, "More on the way!" everyone ducks and we see Henry's diploma up on the wall, but when it cuts to a different angle the diploma has vanished before the room even shakes or the heater's stovepipe falls.

To Market, to Market - S1-E2

Other mistake: Frank padlocks the doors to Henry's office so Hawkeye and Trapper have to take apart the back wall to remove the desk, but after Frank wakes Henry to tell him about black marketeers Henry runs off to his office to check on his booze, and at the start of the shot when Henry runs into his office he just pushes open the door with Frank still a few paces behind him, never unlocking the supposedly locked door.

Abyssinia, Henry - S3-E24

Factual error: Henry says that every Wednesday, his wife drives up Route 26 with some friends. US. Route 26 starts out in Nebraska and leads to Oregon. The closest thing that could be described as a "Route 26" would be the road leading from Princeton, IL to Dixon, IL which begins 85 miles from Bloomington. The writer probably meant Route 24, which passes about 20 miles north of Bloomington. (00:03:10)

Dear Mildred - S4-E7

Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where BJ, Hawkeye, and Radar are in the motorcade talking about the horse, Radar is talking about how he doesn't want to give away the horse. He is standing in front of some barrels and when he moves, you can see some of the crew, the horse owner, and what looks like another horse in the background for 1 second.

Der Tag - S4-E17

Continuity mistake: Along with Radar holding an anachronistic comic book (the Avengers), the exact issue changes between wide and close shots. One has the older Avengers logo used in the '60s and very early '70s, while the second issue Radar is holding has the newer Avengers logo that just gained currency as the episode was being filmed. Requiem for a Lightweight - S1-E3

Other mistake: At the end of the show Trapper has a steak over his eye covering the black eye he received. Throughout the series the characters constantly complained about the food yet they have the audacity to waste a perfectly good steak.

Dear Dad - S1-E12

Question: A number of times it is mentioned that the outfit is unarmed, yet several times, Frank has a rifle, or a pistol, and once Klinger had a grenade, and the guards and Klinger, while on sentry duty, has a rifle. Was this standard, or is this a mistake?

Answer: The Geneva Convention allows even doctors to carry a sidearm to be used in their self defense or the defense of their patients, however it is rare to do so.

stiiggy

Answer: As an old medical unit staffer, my experience is that med units have combat units assigned to defend them. Usually it was marines.

Answer: Even an Army field hospital would have SOME weapons for self-defense if the enemy attacked. What's meant is that it's not a combat outfit, and therefore wouldn't have enough weapons to actually attack anyone. (It's also mentioned a few times that the Officer of the Watch is supposed to carry a pistol at all times, but Hawkeye refuses to do it when he's in charge and Colonels Blake and Potter don't enforce the rule).
