Sex and another city - S3-E14

Corrected entry: At the beginning of this episode, Carrie mentions in voiceover that they had been in LA for over a week. It's obvious in this episode, that they are staying in LA for a second week. But Carrie never showed up at the second meeting for the Production Company, which would have ended her work with them. Since the Production Company was paying for 2 hotel rooms; it isn't likely they would have let the girls stay in those rooms for 2 weeks for free, when Carrie quit the project after only a few days. And it's doubtful the girls would have elected to pay full price for an expensive hotel in LA for almost 2 weeks on their own, when they had expected to stay there for free.

Correction: Why wouldn't a group of girls that eat and dine in the finest restaurants every day and spend thousands of dollars in expensive shoes and bags spend some money on a nice hotel?

Correction: Agree with the other answer, but Carrie wasn't working for the production company. She was invited to California to discuss optioning her column for a movie. Regardless of whether she attended a second meeting, she was their invited guest and the arrangement included a hotel stay for two weeks. The remainder of a two-week hotel bill is a small business expense that the production company can write off as a tax deduction. Suddenly ejecting her from the hotel would have made them look unprofessional, cheap, and ruin possible future collaborations.

Hot child in the city - S3-E15

Corrected entry: When Jenny and her friends greet Samantha and the girls at the restaurant, Jenny says 'I didn't know you knew Carrie Bradshaw.' But she also mentions that she loves Carrie's column, implying that she reads it every week. If Jenny really was reading Carrie's columns on a regular basis; she would already know that Samantha is one of Carrie's best friends, as Carrie writes about her constantly. (00:12:35)

Correction: It is never mentioned that Carrie refers to her friends in the column by their full names, nor would she likely do so, therefore Jenny would not know that it's the same Samantha.

Carrie's column was based heavily on the lives and adventures of herself, and her friends. She used their full names during voiceovers, showing the content of her published writing. Samantha is not a common name, and she wouldn't likely be referring to another Samantha. Obviously this is a plot contrivance for the scene. If the girls regularly read Carrie's column, they would know that Samantha was one of her best friends.

Carrie's voiceovers are not the content of her column, though it may reflect it generally. The voiceovers serve as narration for the episodes. Also, Samantha is not that unusual of a name.

Don't ask, don't tell - S3-E12

Corrected entry: During this scene when Carrie and Aiden are talking after the wedding, each actor's side of the scene was filmed separately. Aiden's part of the scene was filmed first; then Sarah Jessica Parker had to wait an hour, as it took a long time to completely turn the lights around to film her side of the scene. Thus, Carrie's part was filmed after Aiden's. (00:25:45)

Correction: It is a standard filming convention that not every scene will be filmed in sequence, and filming opposing takes of the same scene is true for almost every TV show and movie ever made.

Where there's smoke - S3-E1

Corrected entry: When Bill Kelly arrives at Carrie's apartment to pick her up for their 'date', he calls her on her apartment phone. But when they were talking on the steps of her apartment previously, he had told Carrie that her phone number was unlisted and she nodded. She didn't give him her number, so how was he able to call her? (00:22:00)

Correction: Bill explains that he has managed to get her phone number through his connections at work.

The big time - S3-E8

Corrected entry: When Mr. Big is leaning against the boat rail talking to Carrie, you can see that he is not wearing a wedding ring on his left hand. This seems odd, since he just got married again. And wouldn't Natasha notice that he wasn't wearing his wedding ring as a Newlywed? (00:13:35)

Correction: Maybe he took it off because it made him feel guilty or he just was not used to wearing it yet. Plenty of married people (men and women) don't wear wedding rings for a variety of reasons.

Correction: That is false. You can not see a mirror above the bed at all.

Escape from new york - S3-E13

Corrected entry: Charlotte is worried that Trey's inability to perform in bed is physiological, and is relieved to learn that he can have an erection. In a previous episode she gave him a hand job, so she should already know that he can get it up.

Correction: In fact, believe it or not, it is possible for a man to be manually masturbated to orgasm by a sexual partner without achieving an erection - hence Charlotte's concern.

Correction: It's psychological, Trey was performing fine (the hand job) until they got married, and then he admitted he saw her as his wife, a pure being, and couldn't achieve an erection.

Correction: The way I remember it, Samantha told that guy (Len) that her apartment number was 2D because she didn't like him and he was interested in her. It was an intentional decoy.

Where there's smoke - S3-E1

Corrected entry: Carrie meets a politician at the bar and gives him her address "to determine her district." He later meets her on her stoop, and mentions that her phone number is unlisted, to which she responds that it's likely to remain that way. She never gives him her phone number, yet the night he comes by to hopefully pick her up for their date, he calls and leaves a message.

Correction: She might have given it to him or he could have contacts at phone companies and gotten it. Its not like her phone number is a national secret.

Attack of the five foot ten woman - S3-E3

Corrected entry: When Magda opens Miranda's 'Goodie Drawer', we can see a few items including a certain pink device. As the drawer is closed, it's obvious there is only one drawer on that night stand. So where is the 'Rabbit' that Miranda was so enamored of previously? Surely after spending over $90 on the 'Rabbit', Miranda would still be using it, or at least have it prominently located in her one and only 'Goodie Drawer'. (00:10:00)

Correction: Simply because she has a "goodie" drawer doesnt mean that these are the ONLY toys that she uses. Or maybe she used it and it was in her bed still!
