Visible crew/equipment: During the scene when Phoebe breaks into the other Phoebe's house and gets caught, the older Phoebe was telling the younger one that the man in the photo is not Frank Buffay, but is Chuck Mangioni. Right after that, as Phoebe 2 walks towards the camera, you can see that the door behind her moves open, and there is a visible shadow of someone who walks by that doorway.
Visible crew/equipment: At the end of the scene where Ross buys the group gas at the rest stop, as the shot moves out on Ross leaning against Carol's car you can see the cameraman (and his camera) to the left of the screen. [Widescreen HD version only]
Continuity mistake: When Ross and Phoebe are in the bar and get on the pool table to start kissing, Ross moves the pool balls out of the way, but two remain. As Phoebe lies down, the 9 ball is next to her left shoulder. The shot cuts closer and it is the 13 ball, then cuts back and it's the 9 ball again.
Continuity mistake: When Ross is asking Joey and Chandler which suit he should wear for the TV thing the brown suit is in his right hand and the blue one is in his left hand. After Ross says "really?" the shot changes to a wide view, the two suits have changed places, and the cover on the brown suit has switched to the blue one.
Other mistake: Chandler tries to open the door that leads to his room, but Joey has sawed the door in half so only the upper half opens, and Chandler then falls over the bottom half. He has to hit it with some force to fall over it, but it doesn't budge an inch.
Factual error: Joey refers to several of his favorite parts of The Shining in 'code', including "all blank and no blank makes blank a blank blank, " which obviously refers to the "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" scene from the movie. However, that scene (and the one where Danny sees the two "blanks" in the hallway) is not found in the book; only in the movie.
Visible crew/equipment: Monica is talking to Pete in the diner when he gets back from Japan. If you look at the floor at Monica's end of the counter at the very beginning of the scene, you can see the mat that is there to protect her when she falls over later.
Continuity mistake: When Monica says, "I just recently got out of a serious relationship," she is holding her glass in her left hand. The camera cuts to Pete and the glass is now in her right hand. It then switches back to her left hand in the next wide shot.
Factual error: When Pete takes Monica to Rome for the date this would have been impossible as Rome is 6 hours ahead of New York and at least 4/5 hours travel time, assuming they went by Concorde (double that otherwise). They would have had to have left New York early in the morning to make dinner for 8/9 pm in Rome.
