Visible crew/equipment: When Rachel tells her date she's going to have to take a rain check and goes back into the apartment, as she opens the door you can see a cameraman standing inside the apartment. (This is only visible in the broadcast version, not DVD or widescreen).
Factual error: When Ross shows Chandler the book, he claims it is in "the biggest library on campus" at NYU, which would be Bobst library on Washington Square Park South. Later, in Central Perk, when Ross tells Rachel and Joey about the people "making babies" in front of his book, Joey says, "Wait a minute. Fifth floor, against that back wall?" Bobst's fifth floor is conference rooms only; there are no stacks on that floor. Joey might have been confused, but Ross should know better, being a professor and having just visited that location.
Visible crew/equipment: When Joey walks into the bathroom and starts whistling, the shadows of the camera and a passing crewmember can be seen on the door of Chandler's cubicle, then the camera's shadow moves as Joey walks toward Chandler and also when Joey's about to stand on the toilet.

Continuity mistake: In the coffee shop Phoebe is not in the scene. After Joey puts his apron on, the camera shows Phoebe is next to Rachel. Monica asks Joey if he works there, he says no, a customer calls "waiter" and in a full view of the coffee shop Phoebe is no longer there.

Continuity mistake: When Ross asks Rachel to step into the hallway, we see the whipped cream atop the trifle dessert plates on the table, but while Joey gives everyone acting lessons all the whipped cream is gone, but the dollops of whipped cream reappear once again.

Visible crew/equipment: After Ross tells Phoebe that he does not have feelings for Rachel, just as Ross walks into the apartment to find Rachel crying, the shadow of the moving boom mic can be seen on the wall at the top, left side of the screen.
Audio problem: Chandler, Monica and her parents are at dinner to discuss the upcoming wedding. When they describe how they remodeled the kitchen when she broke up with Richard, the camera pans to Monica and her mouth is moving but there's no sound. It then switches camera angles and Monica audibly asks, "Well what about when I started dating Chandler?" Which is what she said in the frame before with no sound.
Continuity mistake: When Rachel and Monica knock on Danny's door and he opens it, there is a wall a few feet behind him. Later, when Rachel shows up at Danny's apartment to cancel their date, she enters into an open room and there is no longer a wall in front of the door. Danny's apartment is supposed to be one floor directly below Chandler and Joey's apartment. This was obviously the same set for their apartment that was used for Danny's and the wall was added for that shot to disguise it.
Revealing mistake: When Chandler is getting a pan out to warm some milk, he successfully pulls the bottom pan out without too much disruption, however, the joke (and entire plot device - to wake Monica up) is to make as much noise as possible so Perry pulls out more pans on purpose and knocks them on the floor. This is quite clear - you can see him grasp the wok and pull it out onto the floor.
Continuity mistake: When Phoebe finishes telling Rachel about her thanksgiving dream about Jack, Chandler is looking straight ahead with his arms crossed. Cut to the next shot when Jack and Judy are coming out of Monica and Chandler's room, and his arms are immediately uncrossed and he's looking at the women.
Continuity mistake: When Phoebe and Joey are at the coffee house discussing their plan to ruin Ross' blind date just before Joey says, "Ooh I hear that's bad" the pendant on Phoebe's necklace is smooth and blue. When the camera pans to Phoebe after Joey says his line the pendant is flipped over and reveals a new design. This continues to happen throughout the scene.
