Character mistake: After the guys have beaten the girls in the quiz, Rachel refuses to move apartments and Monica says: "If we had lost, we would have made them get rid of the birds." But they did lose. That's why the guys have got their apartment. She should have said if we had won.
Continuity mistake: At the end, when Monica asks about the garbage bags the apartment's front door is closed, but when Rachel opens the drawer and freaks out about what's inside, the front door is wide open (for the camera) as she kicks the drawer shut, and then the door is closed again. (Widescreen).
Continuity mistake: When the friends are talking about the contest to prove who knows each other better, Monica says to Joey "Are you scared?" and Rachel has her arms crossed. Joey says "No" and in the next shot of Rachel she is crossing them again. (00:05:00)
Continuity mistake: In the last scene, Chandler is sitting on the couch in the new apartment, and the rooster is sitting on the back of the couch, with his tail facing the window. When Joey comes running out, the shot of the rooster shows his face toward the window, and then in the next shot he has returned to his tail facing the window. (00:20:45)
Visible crew/equipment: When Rachel is protesting that she loves her apartment, look very carefully towards the top of the screen on the long shot of Monica and Rachel before it zooms in and you will see the shadow of a microphone move swiftly across the wall. (00:17:40)
Other mistake: Ross makes up the questions for the quiz. There are two groups of questions, one for the girls and one for the boys. Each one has four categories; there are four questions in each category. From these 16 questions, Ross asks ten. Thus, there have to be six left after the quiz. But in one group, seven questions can be seen (there are seven cards left). (00:12:50)
Character mistake: Both lightning rounds at the end of the quiz are significantly longer than the 30 seconds that Ross claims they are. (Even though he is supposedly using a stopwatch to time them.) The guys' lightning round is actually 43 seconds long, and the girls' lightning round is 45 seconds long. (00:14:20)
Character mistake: When they are about to start the game, Ross declares that "the first team to answer the most questions wins." This is a nonsensical statement. By that logic, the first team to answer a question correctly would be the winner. It should be either the team that has correctly answered the most questions at the end of the game wins, or the first team to correctly answer an X number of questions.
