The Blacklist

The Harem (No. 102) - S4-E11

New this month Continuity mistake: When Emma and Jessica are waiting for the other two, Emma is looking at herself in the broken side mirror, and Jessica is leaning on the hood next to her when the van pulls in. In the next shot, with the van still pulling in, Emma and Jessica are now standing in front of the Cadillac.

Anslo Garrick, Part 1 - S1-E9

Character mistake: As Reddington sets up the blood transfer between himself and Ressler he inserts the intravenous line in Ressler's arm first and then in his own arm. This way the remaining air inside the line gets into the recipient's body and could very well kill him. Judging the expert way he handles the set up he should know to first insert the IV in his own arm, let the line fill with blood and then insert the IV in Ressler's arm.

Berlin: Conclusion - S1-E22

Plot hole: At the end of this episode Red takes off his shirt revealing his burned back, which leaves us to think that he might be Elizabeth's dad. However, this particular mark should have been noticed and written down in Red's prisoner file when he was taken into custody the first time (Episode 1). In that case Elizabeth would already know that Red is burned and could have asked some questions about it.

The Major (No. 75) - S2-E15

Factual error: Tom Keen watches an arms deal. The supposedly German plates of the BMW read "DD17-36F9." This, however, is not a possible combination in Germany, as there would not be numbers in the first half, nor a letter after a number in the second part. [exceptions from the first being the most important officials' cars like the federal president's, but even then the latter applies]. Furthermore, no more than 4 numbers can be used, except for in police and military vehicles (which also never have a letter after a number, and start "Y" for military, or "DD-Q" for Dresden police). "DD-F1736" would have been a correct plate for the town of Dresden, for example. (00:23:15)

Pilot - S1-E1

Factual error: The bomb is supposed to go off at the "DC Zoo", but the scene takes place at the National Botanical Garden, on the complete opposite side of DC from where the Smithsonian National Zoo actually is.

The Harem (No. 102) - S4-E11

Continuity mistake: Right at the beginning of the episode a Cadillac Escalade gets stolen. The car is the newest model. The chase begins and the car is a new model right up to a scene when they crash into some other cars. That part was filmed with older model Cadillac. The damage is quite severe, but the chase continues again with the new model that has only one bit of damage - a mirror that has come apart.

Monarch Douglas Bank (No. 112) - S2-E2

Factual error: Near the start it says "Warsaw, Poland", but the city shown on the image is not Warsaw, it is Budapest, the capital of Hungary,. (00:06:50)

Mr. Gregory Devry (No. 95) - S3-E11

Factual error: Aram tells Elizabeth he downloaded "the fourth series of Doctor Who" and "Tom Baker is amazing" (indicating Baker is in series 4). Baker was the 4th Doctor and did not appear until series 10 of the original run.

T. Earl King VI (No. 94) - S2-E14

Factual error: The German passport has a photograph loosely attached, this is not the case on a real European passport. It also has the American date format, but with correct European date separators. (00:25:00)

Gina Zanetakos - S1-E6

Continuity mistake: The BMW 5 Series equipped with the dirty bomb you see in the beginning of the show is one of the 'F10' type. The car that actually explodes is another car. Possibly an older 5 Series 'E34', but not an 'F10'. Later in the episode you see the F10 again, but when the FBI agent starts the BMW, the interior of an 'E60' BMW 5 Series is shown. (00:00:30)

Pattie Sue Edwards (No. 68) - S5-E15

Character mistake: When Aram wears the CDC hazmat suit, the CDC personnel advises Aram that he has 20 minutes of air to keep him alive, making the mission time critical. What she says additionally is that "oxygen levels plummet and carbon monoxide (CO) levels rise" CO is not a byproduct of human respiration - carbon dioxide is.

Lord Baltimore (No. 104) - S2-E1

Factual error: The RPG fired in this manner would have killed everyone in the Jeep from backblast alone, not to mention fire effects. (00:00:55)

The Lindquist Concern - S4-E5

Continuity mistake: The time on Navabi's phone screen jumps from 6:06 to 6:08 in a matter of seconds when she's talking with Elise.

THGhost

Ivan - S1-E17

Continuity mistake: Agent Keen breaks the train window and dives through the broken glass and cuts her face in two places as she pursues the young man. Her two cuts alternate throughout the following scenes on the train from dripping blood to barely scratches. That evening at home with her husband her face is practically clear and at Reddington's home later that evening her skin is perfect.

Show generally

Continuity mistake: In the first episode, Liz says that the fire happened when she was 14. Later in the series, she states that it happened when she was 4.

hilarym21

Ivan - S1-E17

Factual error: Early in the episode, a detective knocks on the door and identifies himself as being from the Metropolitan DC Police Dept., and displays his badge. Apparently the prop department gave the actor the wrong badge, because the one he flashes is from the NYPD, not the DC Police. (00:04:00)

Nightguy

Wujing - S1-E3

Revealing mistake: In the shot of the assassins fleeing the scene of the bullet-ridden Range Rover in Shanghai, China, people are casually crossing the busy street in front of and behind the car. Nobody is looking at what just happened. Computer generated graphics were used to place the car and assassins' motorcycles in the shot. (00:00:50)

Ivan - S1-E17

Other mistake: The license plate of the car used by Platt (93N-LI62) is the same as the one used by Charlotte Patterson in episode 13 (season 1): The Cyprus Agency. (00:01:10)

The Lindquist Concern - S4-E5

Revealing mistake: When Elise calls Navabi's phone, the phone is not in call mode.

THGhost

Drexel (No. 113) - S3-E15

Continuity mistake: Rachel the journalist puts on her jeans twice when speaking to Reddington.

Guy Stark

Trivia: Red's trademark fedora was James Spader's idea.
