Trivia: Sigourney Weaver saw her character Grace in the film as James Cameron. She stated in an interview "I teased him because to me I'm playing Jim Cameron in the movie as this kind of brilliant, approach-driven, idealistic perfectionist. But that same somebody has a great heart underneath. So I have to say I was always kind of channeling him."

Trivia: During the end credits the flying shots are recycled from the beginning and other ikran flying scenes, but reversed. Right as James Horner's name is displayed you can see a shadow of an ikran. This is the same shot used when Jake first rides his ikran and he narrates "I may not be much of a horse guy." Jake, Neytiri, and ikrans are removed, but Neytiri's ikran's shadow remains on the foreground rock left.

Continuity mistake: When the 'really white boy' is running from the Sheriff of Rottingham he comes through some trees in which rays of the sun are visible. As the sheriff and his men ride through there are more rays. When they leave there are no rays. In the next shot when the boy is talking to Robin the rays are back. Obviously this scene was shot in different order and throughout the day.

Other mistake: When Ian is breaking in to take the Declaration of Independence his team uses a plasma cutter to cut through some metal. A plasma cutter of that size (fairly small and portable, but able to cut through metal of that thickness) requires a 220v power supply and a compressed air supply. I doubt there was a 220v power plug in that area, and I didn't see them carrying around any kind of compressed air tank.

Factual error: In the scene where Mike is in the subway trying to short the controls with a paperclip; the circuit board appears to be an ATX computer motherboard. The cards he pulls out appear to be PCI cards. Also, the motherboard is missing RAM and has no power supply attached to it. Furthermore, why would sensitive electrical circuit boards be mounted in a locked metal box in a damp subway?
