Bridge of Spies (2015)

Other mistake: When the US Student tries to get from the west to the east, one can see Volkspolizei and Kampfgruppen on one side of the wall and Westberlin Police on the other side of the wall. The camera pans, on the right side, brickies are busy with the wall (which should be the east side), a couple with child is running (why? They are already on the other side), camera pans further and shows the student pushing his bicycle. In the background are now NVA soldiers and an East German tank (see the markings). Isn't this the west side? It is definitely not the side the brickies are on, and the wall was built from the east side. I guess the soldiers and the tank are on the wrong side of the emerging wall.

3 Idiots (2009)

Continuity mistake: Quite early in the movie: the guy fakes a medical emergency on the plane and the plane lands. The main landing gear is shown on touch down: Four wheels each side on two axles each side. Then cut and the plane is shown from the side... one axle gone and the plane has a landing gear like a 737 (two wheels per side on one axle each).

The Meg (2018)

Other mistake: At the end, the ship has exploded after the crash of the helicopter and the crew is in the water. The woman is picking up the people from the water in her surfaced sub. How is this thing propelled if both forward thrusters are above water?

Suggested correction: Why wouldn't they be moving forward? It would work on the same principle as a fan boat. We have no idea how powerful these thrusters are so can't say they wouldn't work if they aren't submerged.

Octopussy (1983)

Continuity mistake: Bond arrives in West Berlin to travel to Karl-Marx-Stadt. The Mercedes stops just before Checkpoint Charlie and the other guy gets out of the car. One can see the license plate - which appears to be genuine German (DIN font and spacing etc). When the "same" car later arrives at the Circus the plates are obviously props. The font is off and the plates are obviously fake.

War Pigs (2015)

Revealing mistake: The group ambushes a German patrol with a half track and a tank. After the fight is over Dolph sits on the ground leaning to the tracks of the tank. The Lieutenant comes back alone holding his Thompson submachine gun. You can see that the barrel is plugged with an aluminum insert to enable the operation of blank cartridges. (01:00:00)

War Pigs (2015)

Revealing mistake: In one of the opening scenes the platoon of the captain is gunned down by a MG42. You can see the crimped fronts of the blanks in the belt.

BangOlafson

Factual error: In the beginning of the movie "at the height of cold war" a map of the world is shown with the Eastern and Western Block. Germany is shown as united - in 1961 it was still split between East and West.

Shenandoah (1965)

Revealing mistake: In the scene where the boy is shot in the leg and the carried away by an unionist soldier you can see more union soldiers storm past them. The bayonets of the soldiers are obviously made of rubber as they are dangling while the rifles are moved up and down by the running soldiers.

Transporter 3 (2008)

Other mistake: Near the end when the bad guy blows up in the train, the fireball created by the exploding bracelet would be much more suitable to several kilos of high explosive or a fuel explosion. It could never have been created by the amount of explosives stored in a bracelet (see as well Mythbusters, the James Bond episode with the exploding pen).

Rambo (2008)

Other mistake: After stopped by the pirates and shooting them, Rambo accelerates his own boat again. The boat is driven by a rear mounted engine with a long shaft, with the screw 2 meters behind the boat. But turbulent water is exiting directly under the boat, which would suggest that the boat is equipped with a regular inboard motor, with the propeller under the stern of the boat.

Hitman (2007)

Factual error: At the scene in the church, there are lots of security personnel standing around wearing steel helmets. The helmet type seems to be an East German M56 helmet (standard for the East German Armed forces until reunification). There is no reason why a Russian security force would have the M56 helmet. (Only if the makers of the movie where able to purchase a lot cheaply :).)
