Continuity mistake: In her office, when Umbridge adds sugar to her tea, she places the spoon on the saucer. When Harry walks in and she says, "You're going to be doing some lines today," there is a close-up of the tea cup and the spoon is gone. After a brief close-up of Harry, the spoon reappears. Continuity mistake: Dumbledore wears a thin silver strand, with dangling silver balls, tied round his beard, and the position of this strand and height of the silver balls differ in consecutive shots, depending on the camera angle, throughout the film. For example, when Dumbledore stands before the Wizengamut during Harry's hearing. (00:20:30)Super Grover

Continuity mistake: Elizabeth has a beauty mark above the corner of her right eyebrow which actually disappears in some of her close-ups. For instance, when she is with Norrington and asks, "Know what? Which side you chose?" and later, when he kisses her. Later, in the scene with her son, the beauty mark is gone in one close-up and then just reappears in the next one, as she glances at her son.Super Grover
