Factual error: 747's do not have overhead crawl spaces.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: I was just looking at the overhead crawl space in a Lufthansa 747 at Am Technik Museum in Speyer, Germany. There is space.

There is a very small space above the ceiling panels that does 1 not match the move, 2 would never hold the weight of a person.

New this week Regarding your 2nd point, Grant and the team are not stepping on the ceiling panels. Rat even makes a mention to Grant telling him that if he does, he will fall right through.

Robin 101 - S5-E3

Plot hole: When Robin and Lily find Barney's secret Robin notebook, Barney and Ted are at the class, so Barney should have the notebook with him.

New this month Suggested correction: This is a character mistake at best, and quite a common one. Students constantly forget their textbooks, homework, notes, supplies etc.

jshy7979

New this month It should be noted that the plot hole isn't talking about "students." This isn't about forgetting textbooks, supplies, or homework. Barney is trying to be a better boyfriend to Robin and wants to learn Ted's secrets since Ted had dated Robin. If Barney has been writing everything down before, the mistake is pointing out why isn't he writing it down this time, except to allow the writers to have Lily and Robin find the notebook and the class.

Continuity mistake: Mikey gets shot in the head twice but when the police are at the scene investigating there is no blood anywhere on the floor even though he has been laying in that position for at least an hour.

New this month Suggested correction: Mikey does indeed get shot in the head twice, but moments after that, we cut to the next scene which is outside. We never see Mikey or the floor again.

jshy7979

Continuity mistake: When Lt. Bogomil gets shot in a driveby while helping Brigette Nielsen's character with her car, you can plainly see that the driveby car is a black 1987 Camaro. However, later in the movie the same gunmen are shown driving a black 1977 Camaro.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: I'm having a hard time seeing the mistake here. Basically what's being stated is that 2 different cars are being used by the same criminals on 2 different occasions? Not only is it entirely plausible that they used a second car for a different shooting, but it is a good idea, in case the plate of the car they used in the Bogomil shooting was reported by an eyewitness (since it was a shooting in broad daylight and all). A smart criminal might have ditched the car entirely.

Reservoir Dogs (1992)

Other mistake: When Mr. Blonde is torturing the cop he is listening to the radio (Stuck In the Middle With You). However, when Mr. Orange shoots and kills Mr. Blonde the radio mysteriously shuts off.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: The radio doesn't shut off, it is just difficult to hear over the shouting in the scene.

No. The music turns off. Soon as Mr. Blonde is executed, there is no shouting. It is almost deathly quiet as we watch Mr. Orange still holding the gun, and Mr. Blonde fall to the floor. This mistake is a valid entry.

Other mistake: Moira finds the ruins where Apocalypse is being revived in Egypt and it's the middle of the day, while it's night time in New York. Then when Xavier talks to her about it back state side, he mentions that it happened yesterday. It's a 15 hour flight alone just to get back.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: Perhaps it happened 2 (or more) days ago, and Charles misspoke. Charles is tongue-tied in this entire scene because he is so smitten with Moira. He misspeaks in that very sentence. He says "I was - we were - hoping that you would tell us what happened yesterday in Egypt." He appears to be more concerned with concealing his feelings for Moira and probably didn't notice he said "yesterday."

jshy7979

That is way too subjective and and unclear to be a valid correction.

Corrected entry: While Raven is helping Nightcrawler to escape from the cage she changes her clothes with no reason.

oswal13

Correction: She did have a reason. She showed up to the fight appearing in something very provocative so as to get in, and get the guard's attention so she can knock him out and cut the power. Once that was done, she "changed" into something less conspicuous to make a good on her escape. Keep in mind, Raven/Mystique is hardly ever wearing clothes at all. The clothes we see are a result of her manipulating her appearance, and she can change her appearance at will, in a matter of seconds, and for whatever reason she pleases.

jshy7979

Corrected entry: Alex Summers, AKA Havok, is the younger brother of Scott Summers [Cyclops] and is a teenager in the film. Yet in the 90s, when the first X-men was set, Scott was still a teenager when the Cuban missile crisis occurred in 1962, so 30 years between events.

Correction: Scott and Alex are brothers in the comics yes, but it is never explicitly stated that they are supposed to be brothers in the movies. They have the same last name, but no further details are given, therefore, no mistake.

S. Ha

It is stated 2 movies later in X-Men: Apocalypse that Scott and Alex are indeed brothers.

jshy7979

Yes, but they simply decided to make Alex the older brother instead. Changes from the source material aren't considered mistakes, so the original submission is still invalid.

Continuity mistake: There is a scene where Leo is at a hotel and meets Jennifer Garner, the 17 model. Then when he is recruiting flight attendants at a school, you see Jennifer Garner again but this time as one of the school girls.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: She is not in the recruiting scene. Jennifer Garner is featured in that one scene at the hotel, and is never seen in the movie again.

Revealing mistake: In the Atlanta party scene, we are supposed to believe it starts with a single long take. However there is a sneaky edit when Frank crosses the threshold of the room. He emerges at a slighty quicker pace and his hair is suddenly messed up. (01:10:35)

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: There is nothing obvious in this scene that supports this. When he emerges on the other side, he bumps into his friend so suddenly that you can't tell if he was walking at a different pace. The reason his hair is messed up is because he bumps into his friend. He then yells at his friend, jerking his head around as he does so, which messes up his hair even further, which can be seen.

jshy7979

Even if it were true, it wouldn't qualify as a mistake. The shot may be intended to appear as a single shot, but that doesn't mean it's a mistake if it isn't.

Green Book (2018)

Corrected entry: Towards the end of the movie Tony Lip shoots off a gun in a parking lot of the Orange Bar to scare off would-be criminals who were hiding just behind their car. (When this happens Dr. Don Shirley shouts out, "I knew you had a gun Tony", which makes the theater audience laugh). But if Tony would have had a gun on his person for the entire time, the police would have found it when Tony and Don were taken to jail in an earlier scene.

Correction: He wouldn't necessarily have the gun on him while driving though. Especially where he kept the gun, on his back, that would be uncomfortable for long road trips. It could have been in his suitcase, in the trunk. When they got taken to jail, it could have been sitting in the trunk the whole time. Or, say the cops did find it, it's not unlikely to assume that Doc and Tony got all their belongings back, given Doc's high connection that got them out of jail.

Made (2001)

Continuity mistake: When Vince Vaughn's character gets busted for talking on the "job phone" (in the beginning), he hangs the cordless onto the receiver (wall-mounted). The next cut back to him shows no handset, only the receiver.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: When he hangs up the phone, it remains hung up on the wall receiver for the rest of the scene. The phone can be seen several times before the scene ends. The way you can tell is this: when the phone is off the receiver, there is a stripe of grey duct tape holding the receiver to the beam. The phone does not have any duct tape on it, so when it is hung up on the receiver, the duct tape is no longer fully visible, because the handset is covering it.

Made (2001)

Corrected entry: The movie is called "Made," yet the boys *weren't* "made," nor was there any mention of that concept throughout the whole movie. In fact, the movie didn't even seem to be about that kind of "organized crime."

Correction: In the film, Max is a local mafia boss. Bobby has connections with Max, although he does honest work. But he decides to do a money laundering deal for Max. The film is indeed about organized crime. While it's open for interpretation, at the end Bobby cuts ties with Max and the mafia and his girlfriend and thus becomes a "made" man through honest work. Plus, Bobby is working for "made" men.

Correction: There are no reservoirs, nor are there dogs in the movie Reservoir Dogs. Monster's Ball is not about a bunch of monsters attending a party. Man on Fire is not about a man who is on fire. Sometimes movie titles are not directly related to the plot of the movie, and that is not a movie mistake.

Continuity mistake: When Nick and Rachel board the flight from New York and are sitting in their 1st Class pod, they are sitting talking before take off and Rachel has painted nails, but when they arrive in Singapore she does not.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: A nonstop flight from New York City to Singapore is roughly 18 hours. Sounds like more than enough time for Rachel to remove her nail polish.

jshy7979

It seems highly unlikely someone would remove their nail polish on a flight, but anything is possible.

Corrected entry: After Mola Rom tears a man's heart out, the man is lowered in the molten pit. The man's chest is visible and has no hole or mark where his heart was taken.

Correction: True, but the man also is still alive after getting his heart ripped out of his chest and the heart is beating. Obviously something "supernatural" is going on.

Also, we do see the hole close, and somewhat heal itself, on screen.

Juice (1992)

Continuity mistake: Q has to record a demo for entry into the DJ competition. The scene showing him recording his demo scratching does not even remotely match the scratching heard in the scene where he is presenting his demo in front of Queen Latifah for entry into the competition.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: Q simply re-recorded the demo at another time. Could have even happened minutes later off camera. I am a DJ, and I definitely have re-recorded demos, even after I thought I had a finished product.

Up in the Air (2009)

Corrected entry: When Anna Kendrick is singing Karaoke she sings "almost left behind" which are the words to the song. However, the Karaoke screen says "almost left me blind." (00:57:00)

Correction: Several different companies make karaoke discs, and they all vary in quality from production of sound to lyrical accuracy. This is simply a disc with a spelling error on it (more than likely being played in real life as this scene was shot) and is not a movie mistake.

Corrected entry: When Grant lunges at Damou, Louie tells Rat that Grant has him. How can Louie see what is going on when the probe he is looking into was pointed at the seat they thought the sleeper was sitting in? Also if he can move the probe to look around the cabin then why bother with the time wasting idea of using Jean to point out the seat number?

Correction: To answer the first part of your question, it is made clear in the movie that the cameras can be rotated. They are using very small probe cameras that the operator can simply rotate by hand. However, some of the cameras have obstructed views, depending on where they were trying to look. The camera that Rat was on could not see the sleeper's face, because the overhead baggage compartment was in the way. Louie's camera was overhead just a few seats behind the guy who was mistaken for Demou, but still several rows ahead of where Demou actually was. When Grant made his move for Demou, Louie simply rotated the camera and was able to see. To address your second point, they had many cameras throughout the plane. However, they did not have a clear view of all 400 passengers faces. Not to mention, they were running short on time. Furthermore, Grant told Jean that she should be looking for someone with an electronic device, which is something that the team would likely not be able to see from the probe cameras. Jean would be able to see an electronic device a lot easier as she made her way through the cabin, which she did. (it turned out to be the wrong device, but that's beside the point).

Continuity mistake: Mr Grant is at a dinner party wearing a tux. Then he is in a meeting, and told they must fly within an hour, but it is during the day.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: Everything you mentioned happens during daytime hours. When we see the establishing shot of Washington DC, the sun is up. Although Grant is in a tuxedo, it is not a dinner party. In fact, while he is talking to the woman, it is daylight outside. He then rushes off to the Pentagon, and then to the airfield, all which happens during the day.

jshy7979

Deliberate mistake: Ethan draws the outlines of the buildings on the window. But the drawings line up with the real buildings from the camera's viewpoint, not as Ethan would see them.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: He is simply making a quick, crude sketch of the buildings to illustrate his fulcrum idea. It did not need to be within line of his eyesight. He just needed to quickly demonstrate his idea to the team.
