Continuity mistake: In the very last scene in New Zealand when Jordan is giving a motivational speech, he approaches his first target in the audience and says 'Sell me this pen.' As he does so, he holds out a pen in his right hand. When we cut to the shot to the person's face, we see that the pen is in Jordan's left hand; this goes on and on with every person. (02:52:10)

Factual error: When Jack retreats to the cabin for the first time in the film, he puts a Led Zeppelin record - Led Zeppelin II - and plays the first song on that side of the record, which turns out to be 'Ramble On'. Any Zeppelin fan would know that 'Ramble On' is song number 7 on side B, therefore the needle should have been placed somewhere in the middle of the disc. The first song on that side of the album would be Heartbreaker. (00:33:55)

Trivia: Director James Cameron knew he had found the perfect Jack in Leo DiCaprio when he invited the young actor to his office for an interview and he noticed that all his female staff were present for the meeting. Later on, during rehearsal, Kate Winslet was so impressed with DiCaprio that she said to James, 'Even if you don't hire me, hire him.' The rest, as they say, is history.

Trivia: Shortly after Hugo drops a piece of metal from the suspending clock to the ground of the train station, the Station Inspector, assuming that Claude dropped it, loudly asks him if he is 'drunk, inebriated, shikker, etc.' The work shikker is from the Hebrew word shikkor for 'drunk'. Trivia: When Mattie sits in the bus just before her professor tries to put himself in its path, behind her is a bearded student, an extra. Repeated views of the films will find him a total of 3 times in 3 different scenes; first in the front school yard, and then in the bus, and one more time in a computer lab.

Trivia: Though Mark Hamill's face seemed so different in this film than it was in the first two Star Wars films, people attributed it to a car accident. According to the actor, he had the car accident before Star Wars came out, but what really happened has been terribly distorted. He says he's many supposed stories about facial surgery, surviving a car wreck, and his favorite of all, driving off a cliff.

Trivia: When Pippin causes a loud noise with the suit of armor, Gandalf scolds him by saying, 'Fool of a Took! Throw yourself in next time, and rid us of your stupidity.' The insult in the book was even funnier where Pippin threw a rock down a deep shaft which startled everyone and was scolded by Gandalf as follows: 'Fool of a Took! This is a serious journey, not a hobbit walking party. Throw yourself in next time, and we'll be rid of your stupidity. Now be quiet!'

Other mistake: When Ripcord flies the black jet toward the White House, he decides to ascend to the atmosphere to rid the craft of the nanomites. As he flies toward the lawn and up the air, he narrowly misses hitting the balcony, where an agent shields himself with his arms from the jet. At such a close distance and at that incredibly fast speed, the agent would have been pulled in by the jet's wake and thrown up in the air. (01:39:45)

Trivia: Repeated viewing of the film will show how, at the beginning of the movie, the villains are huge, tall, and menacing, whereas near the end, we see more villains, but these are smaller, shorter, and leaner. Robert Rodriguez explains that at the beginning of the filming he hired big guys to play Moco's henchmen, but they were subsequently "killed off" and he had run out of extras that size, so he resorted to using extras of average height.

Continuity mistake: Near the end, when Oh Dae Su is fighting with Lee Woo Jin's bodyguard Mr. Han, the latter flips Dae Su repeatedly until Dae Su very swiftly jabs Han in the ear with a pair of scissors, the blades of which are pointing upward from his fist.
