The Darkest Hour (2011)
Deliberate mistake: This mistake was admitted to in the DVD commentary by the director. When at the embassy, once they open the window, the camera pans up to show a destroyed helicopter on top of the building. This is a mistake as in Moscow, it is restricted airspace for helicopters, with none at all for any purpose to be allowed to fly over the city, not even to land on the American Embassy. However, the director really wanted the visual of a destroyed helicopter on top of the building so added it anyway. (00:41:49)

Dying Light
Continuity mistake: The game has a regular day cycle shifting from night to day and back over a length of time. If you go into some buildings like Quarantine Zones, for example, the Stuffed Turtle mission, the windows on the inside of the building will always show daylight shining through. Even if you go into the Quarantine Zone mission while it's night outside.

Question: At one point, Blue Raja mistakenly says that Bowler's father's name was Sal, which she immediately corrects as being Carmine. I never caught this till now after watching a recent animated Batman movie, but two of the big mob bosses that are rivals in Batman are Sal Maroni and Carmine Falcone. Considering the influences of this movie, is this intended to be a reference to the two Batman mob bosses?

Continuity mistake: When Stewie is thrown from the swing and lands in another little girl's stroller, the inside is suddenly much larger after Stewie lands in it when the camera changes angles to how big it was when he was flying towards it. It suddenly has enough room for Stewie to be lying beside the girl with room to spare while she is still in the center, when it was barely big enough for her alone before he landed.

Revealing mistake: There is a safe house in The Following DLC map with two kids playing some hand held video games sitting in a room. If you look at them closely, the screens are not on with the devices not even actually powered on with black screens. Despite this the kids rapidly press buttons like they are playing them, and you can hear the sounds of games being played.

Trivia: At the end of the episode, Peter shows he has one brain cell left. Inside his head, it shows the brain cell alone with glasses and saying he has time to read his books before leaning over. The glasses fall off and break, where he starts to cry that he had time to read them now but can't. This is a direct reference to this same thing happening in the 8th episode of season 1 of Twilight Zone where the last man alive breaks his glasses before he can read all the books he wants.
