The Drublegratz Affair - S1-E19

Continuity mistake: The shape of Dr. Gork's chalkboard diagram changes completely from one shot to the next. (00:13:30)

The Moulin Ruse Affair - S1-E17

Revealing mistake: When April peeks over the rooftop, it's completely dark outside. Every time we see the inserted stock footage of the traffic down below, however, it's a filtered daytime shot. Not one of the cars has its headlights on. (00:11:40)

Jean G

The Moulin Ruse Affair - S1-E17

Revealing mistake: Waverly opens a file full of papers with a small photo of April's contact clipped inside. When we see a close-up of the photo, we can also see that the page under it is part of a script treatment. Odd thing for a spy agency to keep on file. (00:18:40)

Jean G

The Catacomb and Dogma Affair - S1-E18

Continuity mistake: The rear view mirror on Adriana's red sports car vanishes between shots after Mark commandeers her car. (00:18:30)

Jean G

The Moulin Ruse Affair - S1-E17

Continuity mistake: From the outside, the U.N.C.L.E. building's wall is made of red brick. But, after a large hole is knocked through it, a shot from the inside shows no red brick at all. In fact, the entire wall is now made of white cinder-block. (00:02:30)

The U.F.O. Affair - S1-E16

Visible crew/equipment: What's that strange object following over Mark and April's heads as they leave the airport? Looks suspiciously like a boom microphone. (00:02:00)

The Magician (1973)

Show generally

Continuity mistake: 1-18 "The Illusion of the Deadly Conglomerate": Blake tosses the trick card, and it lands on the lower right side of the target. When Dominick walks over to pull the card free, it has moved itself to the upper left portion of the target. (00:29:20)

The Magician (1973)

Show generally

Continuity mistake: 1-17 "The Illusion of the Lost Dragon": Poor Hahn is caught in a diabolical trap: the floor disappears and he's left dangling over a fire pit. In long shots, he's holding onto the ornate door handles with his face pressed against the door. In closer shots, though, he's hanging several feet away from the door, holding onto something (not the door handles anymore) that we can't see. (00:03:00)

The Magician (1973)

The Illusion of the Lethal Playthings - S1-E20

Character mistake: A toy company would surely know better: the sign outside the toy factory misspells "Pinocchio" with only one C instead of two. (00:25:20)

Jean G

The Little John Doe Affair - S1-E13

Continuity mistake: Highly-trained secret agents are supposed to know their own IDs. When April reports to HQ over her communicator, she identifies herself as "April Dancer, Section One." She works, as do all the U.N.C.L.E. field agents, for Section Two. (00:29:00)

Jean G

The Jewels of Topango Affair - S1-E14

Continuity mistake: In the air, the small plane Mark flies is all white. Once on the ground, it mysteriously turns blue. (00:05:15)

Jean G

The Jewels of Topango Affair - S1-E14

Factual error: Mark plays his electric guitar for the tribal chief, and the amplifier works just fine, despite the fact that it isn't plugged into any power source. (00:17:00)

Jean G

The Jewels of Topango Affair - S1-E14

Factual error: Hiking through the African jungle, the safari party is stalked by a tiger. Wild tigers aren't found on the African continent. They're native to Asia. (00:31:30)

The Magician (1973)

Show generally

Revealing mistake: 1-20 "The Illusion of the Lethal Playthings": The "remote control" model plane lands and sneaks through some bushes to spy on Blake. You can see the filament line pulling it. And the picture it sends the bad guys with its mini-camera not only zooms in (unlikely technology in 1973), it also delivers an unobstructed view when the plane is sitting in foliage that should block part of the shot. (00:21:50)

Jean G

The Little John Doe Affair - S1-E13

Continuity mistake: When the Italian U.N.C.L.E. official parks his red sports car outside the jail and gets out, he leaves the door ajar. When he comes back with April, the door has closed itself. (00:38:15)

Jean G

38-23-36 - S2-E24

Factual error: Penny hides the stolen microdot on her contact lens, a re-hashed spy plot (used 5 years earlier on "The Man From U.N.C.L.E.") that wouldn't work. Any foreign object attached to your contact lens would feel like a shard of glass in your eye. (00:42:00)

Jean G

The Lethal Eagle Affair - S1-E11

Revealing mistake: While Madame Gita is testing the death ray device, she orders Franz to go check the power. He trots off to obey, and in the process crosses, miraculously unscathed, directly in front of the "deadly" light beam. (00:42:15)

Jean G

The Lethal Eagle Affair - S1-E11

Continuity mistake: April is undercover in Madame Gita's mansion, and has been speaking with her normal (American) inflection throughout most of the episode. Midway through, however, she suddenly acquires a German accent for no apparent reason. (00:35:15)

Jean G

Boom at the Top - S2-E19

Plot hole: While Mundy is trying to disarm the briefcase bomb in the study, his time-sensitive work is interrupted no less than 6 times by people barging in from the party out front. The plot device adds comic relief, but there's no earthly reason why he couldn't have locked or barricaded the door in the first place. (00:36:00)

Jean G

The Lethal Eagle Affair - S1-E11

Revealing mistake: Mark hides inside the grand piano - improbable (there's not enough room) unless the piano is a mock-up without any real harp or strings. And in fact, when he jumps out, you can see that there's nothing inside. Somehow, though, the piano still makes sounds when Dieter touches the keys. (00:27:00)
