Showdown with Rance McGrew - S3-E20

Continuity mistake: The car Rance drives onto the set can be seen in the street from inside the saloon, but disappears when Rance, in character, comes through the swinging doors. It's visible again in the very next shot, but vanishes anew when Jesse James comes through the doors, after which it yet again reappears in the very next shot. (00:04:30 - 00:07:20)

Hocus-Pocus and Frisby - S3-E30

Revealing mistake: Make-up for the space aliens was apparently changed after the closing scene in the store was shot and before any footage of the aliens' "true appearance" was actually taken. This resulted in Frisby, who is now telling the truth and finding no one to believe him, saying that the aliens had a single eye in their foreheads, when in fact, the aliens each had two eyes, in the traditional location. To Serve Man - S3-E24

Revealing mistake: Stock footage used here is far too obviously borrowed from several old movies. While the episode is set in the 60s, people's clothing and all the cars are noticeably many years out of date. (00:03:05)

Trivia: The photograph prominently displayed on Dresden's refrigerator was an homage to a man named Scott, a good friend of star Paul Blackthorne. Scott had passed away just before shooting on "The Dresden Files" began.

A Piano in the House - S3-E22

Audio problem: The keys we see being depressed on the player piano never bear any resemblance to the actual notes we hear. (00:13:00)

Showdown with Rance McGrew - S3-E20

Continuity mistake: The saloon's windows are much narrower inside than they are on the outside. (00:17:20)

Jean G

Little Girl Lost - S3-E26

Audio problem: For reasons unknown, the child's voice throughout this episode is played by an adult actress trying to sound childlike - and the unconvincing imitation is painfully obvious. (00:19:25)

Things That Go Bump - S1-E11

Revealing mistake: A recycled shot from an earlier episode causes Bob to enter the room wearing one costume and then suddenly be wearing another when he turns to begin his scene with Dresden and co. (00:11:50)

Jean G

Still Valley - S3-E11

Revealing mistake: Many of the "frozen" Union soldiers can be seen blinking, breathing and wavering in place amidst their regiment. (00:07:30)

Jean G

The Jungle - S3-E12

Continuity mistake: Richards opens the door and finds a lion on the bed over his wife's body. When the door first opens, the corpse has dark hair and the blanket is twisted and disarrayed. But when the shot cuts to the lion leaping, the corpse's hair is a lighter color and the blanket is neatly spread across the bed. (00:23:40)

The Midnight Sun - S3-E10

Trivia: The effect of the melting artwork was accomplished by painting a picture in wax onto a hotplate and then simply turning the hotplate on. (00:21:10)

Forever Knight (1992)

Spin Doctor - S1-E15

Continuity mistake: Nick takes to the air wearing a blue windbreaker, but lands wearing a long black duster coat. (00:14:05)

Jean G

The Invisible Woman - S2-E18

Continuity mistake: In the nuclear power plant, Darien picks up the technician's box of snacks, holding it by the narrow edge. Then the shot cuts, and he's instantly holding it with his hand spread across the wide front of the box instead. (00:35:30)

Jean G

The Invisible Woman - S2-E18

Visible crew/equipment: Hobbes opens the Agency van's door, and captures the reflection of a large round stage light. (00:18:20)

Jean G

It's a Good Life - S3-E8

Continuity mistake: During the birthday party scene, as the close-ups and master shot are intercut, Anthony's hair changes back and forth from being combed straight forward to parted on the left and combed to the side. (00:15:10)

Jean G

The Passersby - S3-E4

Continuity mistake: When the Union soldier arrives on the horse, Lavinia points a shotgun at him, holding it at chest level. But when the shot cuts, she suddenly has it up to her cheek. (00:15:00)

Jean G

The Mind and the Matter - S2-E27

Visible crew/equipment: While Beechcroft talks to his boss in the men's room, the boom shadow moves across the wall at the upper right of the screen. (00:03:35)

Jean G

The Silence - S2-E25

Trivia: Midway through shooting, Franchot Tone got into a brawl that left him with facial abrasions on one side so severe they couldn't be covered with make-up. So, in the "glass room" scenes, shots of him are, bizarrely, in profile only or taken from behind barriers obscuring half his face. Some profile shots were reversed to create the illusion that in various takes, we were seeing both sides of him. (00:17:00)

Long Distance Call - S2-E22

Trivia: When the script called for 6-year-old Billy Mumy's character to be found floating in a fountain full of water, the child actor's mother objected, and the scene was changed. Says Mumy, "I wanted to do it. I was a very good swimmer. But Mom was terrified I'd get some weird ideas about suicide if I did."

Long Distance Call - S2-E22

Visible crew/equipment: When Chris escorts Grandma Bayles up the stairs, a blocking mark is plainly visible at the lower right, chalked on the carpet. (00:05:25)
