The Prisoner (1967)

A. B. and C. - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: The length of A's cigarette varies considerably between takes. It's short in long shot, then gets suddenly longer in the following close-up.

The Prisoner (1967)

A. B. and C. - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: Number 14 has to push a button to activate the first tape she puts into the player. She then puts on the 'A' tape and it starts playing by itself, with no button pushed. When she puts in 'B,' though, she has to push the button again.

The Prisoner (1967)

A. B. and C. - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: When Number 6 kicks out the grill, his socks are blue. In the next shot, though, the socks have turned brown.

Jean G

Lady Fair - S3-E9

Continuity mistake: Just after Buck jumps in to break Charly's fall, his right hand is high on her shoulder in full shots. But in close-ups, his hand and arm are around her waist instead.

The Prisoner (1967)

Arrival - S1-E1

Revealing mistake: No automobiles are permitted in the Village - ever. Yet in aerial shots, a black car is sitting behind Number 2's residence.

Trail to Nevermore - S3-E7

Factual error: Despite taking a three-day trek across the blazing Arizona desert with no food, water or provisions (and definitely no knives or razors), neither John nor Manolito grows a beard, or even any stubble. They both arrive in Nevermore perfectly clean shaven.

The Prisoner (1967)

Arrival - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: When Number 6 is looking for a map in the Village store, the shopkeeper wears a badge with 19 on it. A few shots later, his number has mysteriously changed itself to 56.

The Prisoner (1967)

Arrival - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: The dwarf Butler climbs in to pilot the helicopter - but when the aircraft actually takes off, it's obvious that the pilot is a full-sized person.

Trail to Nevermore - S3-E7

Plot hole: At the end, despite an earlier emphasis on the necessity of wearing one's hat in the desert, John rides out of town without his. Victoria, who wore John's hat when they crossed the desert, isn't wearing it either. And of course, the "lost" hat reappears on John's head in the next episode. (00:39:20)

Apache Trust - S3-E8

Plot hole: Somewhere in old Tucson, there must have been a merchant with dozens of identical hats to sell. Here, as in other episodes, Blue's hat is lost somewhere in the desert when he's captured by the Apaches. By the next episode, though, he has it (or one just like it) back again. Lost horses, sometimes even after being killed, had a similar habit of reappearing alive and well in the following week's episode. (00:44:40)

Trail to Nevermore - S3-E7

Continuity mistake: When the bad guys arrive in Nevermore, they prejudicially assume that Victoria is Manolito's wife. No one disabuses them of this notion, yet John later tells one of them that he was right about Victoria being his wife. (00:30:30)

Trail to Nevermore - S3-E7

Plot hole: When Manolito and Victoria jump from the wagon, her hat flies off and falls to the ground. The bandits ride on by, chasing the wagon, after which Mano and Victoria get up and start walking. She later laments losing her hat when they leaped, which makes no sense. Since the bandits and therefore the urgency had passed, there was no reason not to retrieve her hat before they left the area.

Trail to Nevermore - S3-E7

Revealing mistake: During the cart-pulling scenes in the desert, the use of a stunt double becomes apparent when the usually reed-thin Victoria suddenly gains several pounds and some new muscles in the posterior region. (00:08:00)

The Prisoner (1967)

The Prisoner (1967)

Fall Out - S1-E17

Visible crew/equipment: When Number 48 jumps from the council table, there's a clear shadow on the left of someone holding up a still camera.

The Prisoner (1967)

Fall Out - S1-E17

Audio problem: Number 48 is still singing when he's carried out near the end - his lips are moving but we don't hear anything. A few shots later, we can hear him again, but his lips aren't moving in sync with the sound.

The Prisoner (1967)

Fall Out - S1-E17

Continuity mistake: The council members' signs keep changing during the "Dem Bones" sequence. "Entertainment" becomes "Anarchists" and several others switch places between cuts.

The Prisoner (1967)

Dance of the Dead - S1-E8

Continuity mistake: Number 6 pushes the dead body out into the surf. In close-ups, the body is still very near the shore. But in long shots, it is much further out. (00:28:30)

The Prisoner (1967)

Dance of the Dead - S1-E8

Continuity mistake: When Number 6 falls on the beach, the sand under him is wet. In the next shot, it is obviously dry.
