Many Happy Returns - S1-E7

Continuity mistake: While the gunrunner is untying the raft, he's holding a half-eaten green apple in one hand that wasn't there in the previous shot. It disappears again as the raft floats away. Then it comes back - but it has now become a red apple instead of a green one.

Continuity mistake: During his fight with Barnabas, Jeremiah suffers a cut to his cheek just to the right of his mouth. The next morning at their duel, the cut has moved up higher and is now at his cheekbone. (00:34:05 - 00:42:15)

Continuity mistake: Heyes and Curry have waded into the lake to recover the chest, so their pants are soaking wet up to hip level. But just a few minutes later, they're both completely dry again. (00:31:45)

Continuity mistake: Rover herds the boat back to the beach, and several people who were aboard minutes before (some of them unconscious) have somehow disappeared from its decks.

Continuity mistake: At the end of the chess match, the player wearing blue comes down off his platform, descending the ladder and walking onto the field. In the very next shot, as his opponent approaches Number 6, the man in blue is in the background, once again coming down the same ladder. He didn't have time to climb it again.

Continuity mistake: Number 39 is writing notes on the word association test in her notebook. When the shot cuts to a close-up, however, the notebook disappears from her hands. It's back a short time later.

Continuity mistake: On the beach, the Queen is sitting on a large rock and conversing with Number 6. Then she's seen standing down near the water. After an abrupt cut, she's back on the rock without enough time to have moved there.

Revealing mistake: A vampire-entranced Carolyn uses a butcher knife to push open Julia Hoffman's bedroom door. The wood is otherwise pristine, but near the knife's point, you can see scratch marks left by the knife during previous takes. (00:30:15)

Continuity mistake: When Angelique's wailing spirit appears above the stairs, Willie is standing on the same level as Julia with his arm around her. In the very next shot, he's one step down from her with one hand on her shoulder. (00:34:05)

Revealing mistake: The mirror over Barnabas' mantel hangs flush against the wall. Yet when he shatters it, the candlestick he throws can be seen to go through the glass instead of bouncing back as it should have done. (00:43:45)

Audio problem: In the hotel room, Leslie offers her ring as a down payment to Heyes. He reaches for it and says, "May I?" But as we hear the words, his lips aren't moving. (00:13:15)

Continuity mistake: When the command "Knight to Queen's Bishop Three" is given, it's not a knight that moves, but a pawn. In the next long shot, though, Queen's Bishop Three isn't occupied by anyone, pawn or otherwise.

Continuity mistake: Harker confiscates firearms from five Devil's Hole members who are playing poker in the saloon. The sixth member is down in the tunnel, and didn't turn over his gun. Yet when the outlaws go to collect their weapons, six are given back their side-arms. (00:49:00 - 00:55:50)

The Man Who Murdered Himself - S1-E10

Revealing mistake: At the beginning of his trip with the TNT wagon, Curry is seen driving with a hill in the background and a road winding past rocks and green grass. Several miles into the trip, he's coaxing the team over a ridge, and when we cut to a close-up, the same road is behind him. It's the same shot, recycled from earlier in the episode. (00:06:15 - 00:15:45)

Continuity mistake: When Harker rouses a sleepy Heyes and drags him to the saloon, Heyes' hair is falling over his forehead. The shot cuts, and his hair is combed back. Then he steps through the curtain to talk to Wheat, and the hair is over his forehead again. (00:46:50 - 00:47:30)

Continuity mistake: The Devil's Hole Gang is referred to as "seven sorry lives of crime." But there are only six of them. (00:44:10)

Continuity mistake: Deputy Harker keeps checking his pocket watch while making his rounds. The first two times he looks at it, the watch face has Roman numerals. On his third check, it has regular numbers instead. The fourth time, the Roman numerals are back again. (01:05:15 - 01:06:45)
