Hawaii Five-O (1968)

No Bottles...No Cans...No People - S4-E2

Factual error: Johnny makes two direct-dial calls from his car phone and is instantly connected - something not yet possible in 1971. His calls would have to go through a mobile operator before connecting. (00:32:30)

Lines of Communication - S4-E11

Trivia: Marcus tells the Mars resistance fighters that he was raised on the planet Arisia. J. Michael Straczynski used that name as an homage to one of his favorite science fiction book series, E.E. "Doc" Smith's Lensmen novels, in which the Arisians were the good guys. (00:16:00)

Batman Is Riled (2) - S1-E6

Continuity mistake: When Batman and Robin crash through the window, there's no glass left in the frame - at least not until the next shot, when several large shards that weren't there before suddenly appear at the edges. (00:11:50)

The Joker Is Wild (1) - S1-E5

Continuity mistake: In close-up, Bruce Wayne folds his newspaper in half, leaving the folded edge facing the camera. The shot cuts to a wider view and immediately, the paper has reversed positions in his hand. (00:04:00)

The Joker Is Wild (1) - S1-E5

Audio problem: Joker's TV debut as an opera singer isn't very convincing. Even through the partially-obscuring clown mask, you can see that his lips aren't moving at all. (00:22:30)

Torchwood (2006)

Ghost Machine - S1-E3

Highest Castle, Deepest Grave - S4-E1

Revealing mistake: Stock footage turns the doctor's black 1970 Lincoln Continental into a 1950s model when it goes over the cliff, crashes and burns. (00:15:50)

Winds of War (1983)

Show generally

Factual error: Part 4: The cord on the telephone Pug uses to call Pam should be a straight wire. Instead, it's coiled: a design not yet in use in the 1940s. (00:13:30)

Winds of War (1983)

Show generally

Continuity mistake: Part 6: When Pug Henry is conversing with Palmer over drinks, Pug holds his glass in one hand. When the shot cuts, he's holding it with both hands. When it cuts again, he's back to the one-handed pose. (01:30:20)

The New Lion of Sonora - S4-E14

Factual error: In the 1870s, poker chips were made of wood and either branded or painted with denominational values. But the brightly colored chips on General Casados' table in this episode are very obviously made of plastic. (00:38:30)

A Matter of Survival - S4-E5

Revealing mistake: The doll standing in for Baby Joey is visible in one shot of Victoria carrying the child on horseback. The blanket slips, leaving the doll's stiff neck, plastic head and shock of sticking-straight-up nylon hair all in plain view. (00:10:15)

Only the Bad Come to Sonora - S4-E3

Continuity mistake: The number of outlaws in the gang mysteriously increases during one chase scene. For most of the episode, there are only three of them. When they gallop off after Manolito, there are suddenly five. Next scene, there are three again. (00:20:35)
