Forever Knight (1992)

Blood Money - S2-E17

Continuity mistake: When Sean sneaks back into the night club owner's office, we can see as he enters that there is no one in the left-hand side of the room. Yet, as Sean sits down at the desk, Walken somehow emerges from the left corner, which we have just seen was empty a moment before. (00:39:15)

A More Permanent Hell - S2-E20

Factual error: In the first scene, Dr. Dana says the asteroid heading for Earth is 5 miles wide, "larger than the one that caused the dinosaur extinction." The asteroid that did in the dinos is estimated by most scientists to have been 6-8 miles wide. (00:03:00)

The Fiddlesticks Affair - S1-E16

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, the camouflage make-up smeared on Illya's face is completely different in close-up than it is in full shot. (00:02:15)

Jean G

The Deadly Decoy Affair - S1-E15

Continuity mistake: When he's on the hospital gurney, Stryker's hands are extended over his head in one shot, and in the very next, they're tucked down under the covers. (00:43:55)

Jean G

The Deadly Decoy Affair - S1-E15

Continuity mistake: In the intro, Illya gets into the car and as he's talking to Solo, finishes the last of his breakfast donut in close-up. When we cut to a two-shot, he finishes the donut all over again. (00:03:40)

Star Trek (1966)

The Empath - S3-E12

Continuity mistake: The bruises on McCoy's face change configuration, color and texture between the time Kirk and Spock first find him and the scene where Gem heals him. (00:34:15 - 00:40:30)

The Empath - S3-E12

Continuity mistake: After partially healing him, Gem falls away from McCoy and lands, unconscious, perpendicular to the dais he's lying on. When Kirk and Spock rush over, however, she's suddenly moved several feet away and is now lying parallel to the dais. (00:44:50 - 00:45:35)

Star Trek (1966)

Wink of an Eye - S3-E11

Plot hole: Spock plays back a tape of Kirk, McCoy and Compton on the surface of Scallos that no one in the landing party could have recorded. What a coincidence that it's identical to the footage that opened the episode. (00:36:05)

Plato's Stepchildren - S3-E10

Trivia: TV's first interracial kiss occurs here. But close examination reveals that Kirk's and Uhura's lips never actually meet. For fear of censorship, the kiss was simulated, so that complaints could be answered with "They only pretended to kiss." Despite this "out," however, the episode was still banned by several stations across the US. (00:42:40)

The Tholian Web - S3-E9

Continuity mistake: During McCoy's struggle with the orderly, only half of the plastic colored bottles strewn on the table are knocked off onto the floor. But when Nurse Chapel hurries over to tranquilize the orderly, the rest of the bottles vanish, leaving the table completely clear. (00:19:10)

Is There in Truth No Beauty? - S3-E5

Factual error: The Enterprise accidentally travels a short distance outside the galaxy and can't find its way back. But they'd have to travel for months to get so far outside the Milky Way that they couldn't, well, just turn around in the void and see it. Our galaxy is huge. 100,000 light years across. Very huge. And that barrier may surround the galaxy, but even it is big, pink and visible.

Be My Valentine - S2-E15

Continuity mistake: In the flashback to 1228, Nick's just-awakened sister Fleur has her hair down over her ears, and is wearing a white night dress that covers her to the neck. Cut to a close-up and her hair is pulled back to reveal pierced earrings (unlikely in 1228, and did she sleep with them on?), and she's suddenly in a bare-shouldered gown instead of her night dress. The Tholian Web - S3-E9
