Blackbeard (2006)

Factual error: The British Naval uniforms worn in this film, set in 1717, are more than 50 years out-of-period. The costumes were styled after uniforms that were not in use until after 1770.

The Deadly Toys Affair - S2-E9

Plot hole: Solo hopes that Elfie can fly the helicopter they're about to escape in. Why? It's a standard-issue helicopter: nothing special. Did both he and Illya, who've flown many 'copters in previous episodes, suddenly forget how? (00:46:50)

The Minus-X Affair - S2-E29

Other mistake: Waverly asks Illya to move the map on the display screen more to the left. Illya touches a button, and the map moves - to the right. (00:15:50)

The Deadly Toys Affair - S2-E9

Character mistake: Both on the superimposed title of Act II, and at the airport on the large printed sign attached to the animal carrier, the word aardvark is misspelled "aardvaark." (00:17:45 - 00:24:25)

The Deadly Toys Affair - S2-E9

Continuity mistake: Joanna learns from the hotel waiter that he saw Illya and a chambermaid going into the woods. But she later tells Illya that she saw him leaving with the girl, and goes on to describe the chambermaid - a person she never saw. (00:32:55)

The Deadly Toys Affair - S2-E9

Continuity mistake: The remote-controlled model plane with the explosive on board keeps changing colors between shots. It's yellow and blue at first, then yellow and red, and in one shot, it's red and white. (00:12:30)

The Yukon Affair - S2-E14

Continuity mistake: During the fight in the secret vault, Illya's boots change color, from black to white (they're suddenly white in the close-up when the bad guy reaches out to trip him) and then back to black again. (00:43:20)

The Yukon Affair - S2-E14

Continuity mistake: When Victoria orders everyone to put up their hands, Illya's left coat sleeve is covering his watch in full shots, but is several inches lower, exposing the watch, in all the close-ups. (00:45:15)

Blackbeard (2006)

Factual error: The slave ship the pirates overtake in the beginning is flying the tricolor flag of modern France, which was not adopted until the revolution in 1789. Blackbeard is set in 1717.

The Arabian Affair - S2-E7

Visible crew/equipment: In the sand dune fight in the teaser scene, Illya's stunt double's face is viewable as he jumps on his attacker and rolls down the slope. (00:03:25)

Blake's 7 (1978)

Pressure Point - S2-E5

Revealing mistake: In the control complex, Avon tosses two coin-like objects onto the electrified floor to test the grid. But the "coin" is already on the floor before the sound effect of it landing can be heard, and the mini explosions the coins set off is the same footage both times. (00:38:30)

The Arabian Affair - S2-E7

Continuity mistake: Sophie throws a knife that hits Illya in the front of one leg. But when the camera angle widens, she's standing on a dune behind him, nowhere near the area from which the knife was thrown. (00:04:00)

Blake's 7 (1978)

Shadow - S2-E2

Visible crew/equipment: When Vila is talking to Cally on the flight deck, the boom shadow moves across the Liberator's control console. (00:10:00)

The King of Knaves Affair - S1-E13

Factual error: For a supposed language expert, Illya speaks very poor German. Entering the night club, he introduces himself with the line, "Ich bin Herr Strickland." That's terrible grammar. It should be, "Ich heisse Herr Strickland." (00:10:00)

Jean G

The Arabian Affair - S2-E7

Factual error: Thrush lands a rather large private jet right next to its secret lab. In the Arabian desert. In the sand. Without a runway. (00:39:20)

Blake's 7 (1978)

Weapon - S2-E3

Plot hole: The IMIPAK weapon marks its victims and then kills them with a secondary device. But it's inconsistently selective. When Servalan kills the guard with it, Blake and co., marked and standing nearby, are unharmed. But Rashel later warns Travis not to push the button because he and Servalan are marked and would die too. (That the weapon's range is "adjustable" is nowhere mentioned or implied. Servalan doesn't change a thing before she fires it). (00:43:55 - 00:46:30)

Blake's 7 (1978)

Shadow - S2-E2

Revealing mistake: When Bek pulls the silver shroud off of Petey, note the movement on the chest of the corpse, which is obviously breathing. (00:08:30)

Visible crew/equipment: The boom shadow forms a distinct outline on the control console next to Vila when the crew are discussing Space City and the Terra Nostra. (00:04:40)

Blake's 7 (1978)

Redemption - S2-E1

Revealing mistake: As Avon and the crew run through the station and the guard tosses a grenade at them, you can see the white packet of incendiary charges on the floor that will set off the grenade's explosion. (00:42:30)

Blake's 7 (1978)

Weapon - S2-E3

Plot hole: How very perspicacious of the clone masters to create their duplicate Blakes wearing the exact same outfit that the real Blake happens to have on in this episode, considering they have never seen Blake in person. (00:35:35 - 00:38:35)
