Factual error: Rosemary calls Dr. Hill from a pay phone and says, "The baby's due on Tuesday, you remember you told me June 28th" (and June 28th 1966 does fall on a Tuesday). In the previous scene in Dr. Sapirstein's office his receptionist is making an appointment "next week" for a patient and that date is "July 10th" indicating that if Rosemary is due on June 28th (which she says is next Tuesday) the dates do not match and it must still be the week of June 20th which is at least two weeks before July 10th. Factual error: Rosemary goes out to meet Hutch at the Time Life Building and we see the marquee at Radio City indicating that "The Happiest Millionaire" staring Fred Mac Murray and Tommy Steele is playing. The problem here is that it's already been established by the calendar on the Woodhouse's kitchen wall and by the Pope's visit it that this is winter 1965, but "The Happiest Millionaire" didn't premier until 1967. Factual error: Marilyn and the Cutler's follow Inspector Starkey down to the bottom of The Scenic Tunnel Trip to identify George's shoes and when they come up Marilyn hears the song "Kiss" chiming from the bell tower. This is an obvious mistake as the shot of the bell tower that we see here is taken from the American side of the falls and The Scenic Tunnel Trip is on the Canadian side of the falls. (00:39:55)????

Factual error: The Rainbow Cabins are on the Canadian side of the falls and when Ray Cutler looks over at the shredded wheat plant he should be looking at the American side. But the error here is that they show the Sir Adam Beck Generating Station which is also on the Canadian side of the falls. (00:06:50)????

Factual error: After the TV producer talks to Norm and Shake, three Beatles (minus Ringo) appear singing the theme song of the movie "A Hard Day's Night". Not only are their lips not moving, but they couldn't possibly have been playing "A Hard Day's Night" because it wasn't written until after the movie was completed. (01:05:45)????
Factual error: The New York Central Railroad's West Shore Line train tracks depicted in the scene with the burning train in Athens NY is not accurate. Tom Cruise and the children walk right onto the ferry terminal after crossing the train tracks, but in reality the tracks are over two miles to the west of the Hudson River shoreline. (00:57:20)????

Factual error: Captain Willard narrates to himself, "I am beyond their timid lying, morality, and so I am beyond caring" as we see a downed helicopter burning in a tree. The main rotors are detached and would not be sitting on top of the helicopter had it actually crashed and not just been placed there. In an actual helicopter crash the rotors fly off. (01:22:10)????

Factual error: The date on the top of Chef's letter from Eva says, "Sept" with the year conveniently whited out. If the letter was written in September of 1969 she couldn't have known about Manson who wasn't arrested until December 3, 1969. This also dates the movie as taking place sometime in 1970. Factual error: Captain Willard recalls back to lunch at General Corman's and we hear Harrison Ford's voice say as he points to a map, "Now he's crossed into Cambodia". The town he's pointing at (Ban Me Thout) and the one above it are in the Central Highlands in the middle of Vietnam and not crossover points anywhere near Cambodia. (01:18:20)????

Factual error: In at least one shot as Kong is on top of the Empire State building, the sunrise over Long Island is wrong. Three planes attack from the southwest and we see the sun rise in the east as Newtown Creek (Nassau River) glistens across the East River. The mouth of this river opens southward but in this shot everything is inverted with the mouth of the river pointing northward. Also, looking eastward, Roosevelt Island should be on the left of Newtown Creek, not on the right.????

Factual error: When they sing "I Should Have Known Better" look at Paul's left wrist - he's wearing a metal ID bracelet. Anyone who plays guitar knows that they jangle against the strings. He makes sure in any real live performances that it is tucked up in his sleeve away from the strings. (00:13:40 - 00:34:20)????
