Is there an alien that looks like a praying mantis in any of the Alien movies? I used to have a toy of it.

Question: Is he actually sane at the end? I ask this because it looks like he makes them think he is insane so they will give him a lobotomy, and in that way he could forget about killing his kids indirectly.
toby1kenobiChosen answer: I think it's meant to be ambiguous, as nothing's explicitly stated either way. My take was the same as yours, namely that he'd rather die as a good man than live as a monster, to reference the line he says, but him still being actually insane also fits.

General questions
I'm looking for the name of a movie that, forgive me it's all I can remember, a horse being divided by several sheets of glass which spread apart and the horse is still alive. Does anyone have any ideas?

Red Dawn (1984)
Question: Where can I find out who the extras were in the movie? My uncle was one of the paratroopers at the beginning, I just want to know which one, and no I can't call him.
toby1kenobiChosen answer: I was one of the actual paratroopers in the movie. There were at least two different companies providing the extra's. The company that provided the actual paratroopers was Delta Productions, Inc. owned by John Early who owned the Parachute Center in Albuquerque, NM. John was a former Green Beret and professional soldier and was hired to be the technical adviser to the film. As far as I know, Delta Productions is no longer in business. The other company that hired extras provided the non-paratrooper extras. I do not have any information concerning that company but I do know that most were locals who lived in Las Vegas, NM. I know this because I met one of them in the Marine Corps years later. To answer your actual question, I have no knowledge if that information was kept other than those companies that hired them.

General questions
Okay it is a 70's-80's movie where this one area has been contaminated with something and the animals that are there get really mutated. The only things I remember was a mutated bear was attacking some peoples tents, and that a woman became contaminated because she ate a fish.

Trivia: Watch when Roddy and Rita are going to her house. On the outside, the walls have newspaper clippings. If you read what is written on them, it talks about the events of Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

General questions
I don't know if it is a movie or a show but there is this gargoyle thing and for some reason he is apologizing to this guy and then munches on him. It was live action. Sorry for not having a lot of details.
toby1kenobiChosen answer: Might be "Tales From the Darkside", 1990. It's actually tree short stories in one movie, the last one being "Lover's Vow", which did have a gargoyle. This description sounds like the last scene of that tale, and I've never seen another movie with a gargoyle that talked.

I am trying to find the name of a movie. I know a bit of the plot: it is set in some fantasy world and there is this teenage girl talking to this teenage boy and they are watching these unicorns. The girl ends up petting the unicorns and she is then chased by goblins or something and winds up being captured by a devil dude.
toby1kenobiChosen answer: The film is "Legend", from 1985. The girl is Mia Sara, the boy Tom Cruise, the devil dude Tim Curry. All of whom probably want to forget they were in it...

Chosen answer: I don't think so, but I do remember the toy line. They made several "species" of alien that weren't featured in the films.
