Continuity mistake: When Bugs hits Sam on the nose with a pea-shooter, you can he is wearing his cowboy hat, but when Bugs leaves the saloon in the next shot, his hat has disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When Bugs Bunny says "I aims to", you can see he has a cigarette in his mouth, but when we see Bugs pacing himself a few seconds later, the cigarette has disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When the stage coach approaches the saloon where Bugs and Sam have been playing cards, it has the words "Yellow Coach Co" and "Taxi" on the door. When the stage coach arrives at the train station, both words have disappeared.

More mistakes in Bugs Bunny Rides Again

Trivia: In the original cut, Yosemite Sam says after introducing himself, "I don't mean Mahatma Ghandi." After the death of Ghandi in 1948, the line was changed to "I ain't no namby-pamby." in the cartoon's re-release.

Trivia: When we see Bugs Bunny for the first time, he is standing in a door frame. On the left of the frame you can see P.J. (Paul Julian), and on the right there is "Mike" (Michael Maltese), "Friz" (Friz Freleng) and "Tedd" (Tedd Pierce) carved into it.

Trivia: When Yosemite Sam is dancing, look in the background and you can see businesses with the names of two animators: Ken Champin and G. Chiniquy (Gerry Chiniquy).

Bugs Bunny: Your move first, Sam. C'mon, pick a card.
Yosemite Sam: All right! Don't rush me. I'm a-thinking... and my head hurts.
