Plot hole: Lucy jumps from the airliner and flies her hang-glider straight to Eduardo/El Macho's Cinco de Mayo party to find Gru. How did she know Gru would be there? He had no intention of going and only did so after he was pestered into it by the girls on the very night of the party, so he couldn't have told her himself. Shouldn't she have gone to his house instead? (01:09:50)

Despicable Me 2 (2013)
Directed by: Chris Renaud, Pierre Coffin
Starring: Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Benjamin Bratt, Ken Jeong, Miranda Cosgrove
Suggested correction: Lucy is hang-gliding into the town from about 12,000 feet. Gru's bizarre car would be visible for miles. She would see it parked outside El Macho's and realise instantly that he (and therefore, the girls) were at the party. If she was heading for Gru's house it would be a simple thing to change course in midair.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Gru first meets Lucy Wilde, Gru takes out his freeze ray and fires it at Lucy. Lucy stops the freeze with a flame gun thing and then she walks over to him and tazes him. Gru then drops the freeze ray, but it disappears when she goes to put Gru in the boot of her car. (00:08:30)
Continuity mistake: As soon as Eduardo finishes activating the floor key pad, he is shown standing half way between the start and the end of the floor key pad. Next shot, he is suddenly a few steps away from the end of the pad. (01:03:45)
Trivia: In the end credits the minion causing the screen to drop has heterochromia iridum - his eyes are two different colors. (01:30:45)
Agnes: Are you really gonna save the world?
Gru: That's right, baby! Gru's back in the game with cool cars... Gadgets... And weapons!
Question: How did a starfish get on Gru's head while Lucy and Gru were underwater in the car?
Chosen answer: The car is always shown in shots from the front so we can't see if the boot had a leak.
If the boot had a leak large enough to admit the starfish it would have filled with water and Gru would have drowned.
Question: What happens when you call the number on Lucy's card? It is not a 555 number, so who answers?
Answer: If you dial the number (626-584-5723), it will reach an answering machine recording of Lucy Wilde asking if you want to apply for the Anti-Villain League.
