Visible crew/equipment: After Josh tells Cher she's such a brat, at the start of the next shot which is the first close-up of Cher during the driver's test, just as she says, "I had an overwhelming sense of ickiness, even though I apologized to Lucy," the top of a crewmember's head, with his short wavy hair blowing in the wind, is reflected at the bottom of the Jeep's windshield, directly in front of Cher and the steering wheel. Clueless (1995)
Directed by: Amy Heckerling
Starring: Alicia Silverstone, Brittany Murphy, Paul Rudd, Stacey Dash

Continuity mistake: When Cher is taking the driver's test, she bangs the mirror. But then, when she turns the corner, the mirror is whole again.
Other mistake: When Josh and Cher are driving home from a party, they show a shot of the car. It's a blue sports car that passes a Hertz car rental sign. When Elton is driving Cher home from the party in the Valley, they show the exact same shot of the blue sports car passing the Hertz car rental sign.
Trivia: Writer/director Amy Heckerling was in the middle of writing the script when she saw Alicia Silverstone in an Aerosmith video on MTV, and immediately knew that was who she wanted to play Cher.
Trivia: When Cher is talking to Dionne over lunch, you see Cher's "rival" walk out of the cafe doors with a boy trying to talk to her. That boy is a young Dax Shepard.
Trivia: Clueless is a direct retelling of Jane Austen's novel, Emma. Just a bit of trivia for Austenites.
Cher: Daddy's a litigator. Those are the scariest kind of lawyer. Even Lucy, our maid, is terrified of him. And daddy's so good he gets $500 an hour to fight with people. But he fights with me for free because I'm his daughter.
Mel: Do you know what time it is?
Cher: A watch doesn't really go with this outfit, daddy.

Answer: Malibu is a hazardous place to live. It's constantly threatened by wildfires, which burn out the underbrush. Then when it rains, there's nothing on the ground to keep the mud from sliding down the hills, so mudslides are a problem, too. She was probably referring to one of the many times that this has happened.
