Looking for the name of a movie I saw in the early 90's, I think it was a made for TV movie. A boy is wrongfully convicted of killing a girl that he liked in a pool house or garage. There is one scene that sticks with me. After he is convicted it shows them burning a box of evidence which has a bandanna in it, which was worn by another character.
I'm looking for a made for TV, possibly in the 1980's. It was a midday movie in Australia. From what I remember, there is a man driving his car up a road, and there are fields and trees on either side. All of a sudden, a women comes out from the side, covered in blood. The man stops, and the woman says to him that there is a killer after her (and I think that her husband has been killed). The guy in the car goes looking for the killer, but you never actually see him - a little bit like Duel. They are going in and out of old derelict barns. I think that the main guy was dark haired, one of the top TV stars of the 70's, 80's. It was not a horror movie, but a thriller. For some reason, I remember that it was filmed in Canada.lizsmovies
There was a movie about a small boy and a girl who had evil powers. What really made them terrifying is that they had black fingernails and whenever they touched somebody, that person would be burned alive. This is not Children of the Damned or the sequel, and it is not Children of the Corn.
Trying to find the name of a horror movie maybe from the late 80's early 90's. All I remember is that a young man inherits a cabin (or something). He takes a group of friends there. When he gets there, he walks to the side of the place only to find it as a skeletal structure with just the front standing. However the front showed a full cabin and they were able to go inside, which showed a full house. It had something to do with demons or something that killed off his friends 1 by 1 and possessing them. The only other scene I remember is towards the end of the movie, he wakes up to find all his "dead" friends helping him up. They said as soon as he stepped through the doorway he passed out. He began telling him about his "dream" when one of his friends throws up blood (or something) and says "oops." When the guy looked around him it showed his friends all in demon-like form (them waking him up was just a trick) and the chase resumed. Sorry but that is all I can remember.lartaker1975
I'd like to find the title of a made-for-TV movie from, I think, the early 80s. A group of high school buddies has gathered at a remote cabin, possibly to celebrate graduation, when a girl who has been date-raped and escaped from her rapist, comes to them for help. One or more of them rapes her, too. Years later, one of them has a successful career and plans to run for public office, so he doesn't want his past to come to light. Another one is in prison, and one day he is drawing a picture of himself on his cell wall. For some reason, maybe fire or something in his eyes, his cellmate throws a bucket of water which causes the picture to look like Jesus. He "gets religion" and becomes a jailhouse preacher. Their youthful misdeeds come to light somehow, and they have to deal with it. The girl becomes a follower of the jailhouse "preacher" who has formed a cult, without realizing who he is.Jodi Hendon
What was the title of a 1980's movie (TV movie I think) about a black family that moves back south after the matriarch of the family dies? The family, concerned about racial tensions in the south, is hesitant to leave the north, but after deciding to move, finds things in the south more tolerant than expected.
I watched a movie about a man who had an affair with a married woman, and one day he is arrested and charged with the husband's murder. During the trial, the woman that he slept with is called to the stand to testify, but when the man looks at her, he realizes it is not the same woman he slept with but someone else entirely. He tries telling the judge that he doesn't know the woman and demands to know who she is, but is removed from the courtroom shouting the entire time that she isn't the right woman.
I have been remembering 2 movies I saw as a child but cannot remember the names. I believe they are from the 70s or 80s but not certain. The first is about a guy who unknowingly has a supernatural or magical power. The movie has tons of "people" with powers. From witches the half angels to half demons. Anyways the place he stays at is like a home for people like that. It is a comedy that has lots of funny scenes in it. The second movie is a space movie about a ranger becoming an assassin. He seeks revenge for his people being killed. I believe he is Altarian. Along the way he finds the princess and rescues her. The 2 biggest things I recall are a bathroom scene where he is running from some guys and jumps into a window and land in her bathtub with her in it, and lots of singing in the movie. Please help if anyone remembers either of these movies.Roque Joseph Acfalle
There was a movie about two boys who are best friends. One of them is a scientific genius and shows his friend a machine that he made that could be used to immediately cause plants to grow faster. He demonstrates this by accelerating the growth of tomato plants. One night his friend gets trapped in the machine and it kicks on, causing the boy to grow into an adult. The boy then takes a job as a principal while his best friend tries to fix the machine and get his friend back to being a kid again.
What is the movie where a woman is accused for murder and is either in jail or a mental asylum. Right at the end you see the real murderer outside where he flicks his cigarette lighter three times (this being the signature move of the murderer throughout the movie)?Shannen Bartlett
I wondered if any one can help me figure out a film I watched when I was a kid - it was about a truck driver who gets killed out on the road, and the man's dad drives around and searches for who it was. At the end of the film it turned out to be a woman - I don't know if it was a true story.Sarah Perrins
What was the name of a movie around 1965 to 1967 about teenagers who sold watches to buy racing betting tickets. At the end, the man who purchased them for the teens bought a big winning ticket, but died at the racetrack and dropped the winning ticket into thousands of discarded tickets at the track?
I'm trying to find the name of a movie where people get paid to be living mannequins inside a department store. The manager gives them a hard time by trying to make them move during their shift. One night this guy and female employees are dressed up in a wedding outfits and witness either a murder or bank robbery. The criminal looks inside the window trying to figure out if the people he sees are real or fake then leaves. Is there any one who knows the name? I think it came out about the same time Wedlock came out.
I have been trying to search for a movie, TV show episode or TV movie with this plot: I remember that there were kidnapped girls kept in some kind of basement, tied up and gagged, hanging from the ceiling. The kidnapper would put a wedding dress on the girl he was going to kill. One of the girls manages to escape by pretending to be the kidnapper son's dead mother and she sets him on fire. It is not:The Cellar Door, Bereavement, The Hamiltons. Could be a TV episode. Please help!
What's the name of this movie? It has to be from the 80s/early 90s. Hair/clothing was current with the time. I remember it being about a dad who gets re-married to a woman who is only marrying him for his money but he has no clue. The wedding is outdoor like in a park area. Once she ties the knot she starts secretly changing everything and she does not like the dad's kid (can't remember if it was boy/girl) I think she secretly makes the kid miserable. She redecorates the house and particularly the kid's bedroom in a way that the kid hates tremendously. I think she redecorates using an excessive amount of the color red. In the end, I think the dad/new wife split and possibly the kid spends the night on a park bench.
There was a movie I watched sometime in the early to mid 90s. It was about a woman whose friends were being killed one at a time. In the end of the movie she confronts the killer who is another woman. According to the killer, when she was just a child, she had a birthday party at her house but everyone ignored her and paid more attention to the other woman. Angry about this, she was going to burn the woman's hair to get even. Unfortunately, she held the candle behind her and it caused her own hair to catch on fire and also disfigured her at the same time.
I watched this movie years ago so I can't remember all the details, but I believe it took place in the 1800s based upon their clothing. It was about sisters and they had to go multiple funerals which may have been for some of the sisters that died, and when people died that had to wear black for a year.
For about 30 years I've been trying to find out the title of a black and white movie from the 30s - 50s. I fancy it might have starred someone like Jimmy Stewart. It was about a husband (and father) from a well-off community who. I think, gets hit by a train and suffers amnesia. At the end of the film, he inadvertently comes across his old house at around Christmas time, and looks through the window, but is promptly sent on his way, unrecognised by his own family.
