In a movie I saw years ago, there was a dumb man who inherited the wealth of a recently deceased relative (possibly uncle) so he moves into the city to live in his mansion. Then he meets this girl who is a reporter and he likes her. He pretends to be someone he's not; using someone else's name. The girl looks up that name (or something) and somehow finds out where his hometown is and really wants him to take her there, so he does, and pretends that he belongs there. He even pretends that he grew up in some house, but it backfires because the the current residents (children answer the door) say that their daddy built the house a few years ago. Anyways, his lies get him into trouble and that's all I remember.RoseSusannah
A long time ago I watched a movie but I can't remember its title. There was a couple - I think they were young and they loved each other, but they got into a fight. One day the boy was waiting for the girl in a diner so they can talk, but when she entered she found a new girl sitting beside him, she ran outside and followed her. The new girl got into her car and drove but she had a big accident and ended up in the ICU, and her father told the boy not to talk to her again.Menna.nona
Once I saw a movie involving little people (like "oompa loompas") and a little car. It was a weird type comedy. Anyway, there was a scene with the little people along with the car on a road and the background song talked about the car. The lyrics of this song tried to imitate the engine sounds by singing "brrum brrum" and talked about the car having four gears... I don't know for sure, but the movie could be Italian... And that's all I can remember. Please, help!Leopoldo
There was a movie that I believe took place in the 70's. The movie was about a female reporter who goes to a convent to investigate a supernatural event. The event in question is a nun receiving stigmata wounds on her hands. The nun is terrified by the event and believes that she is being punished by God.
Why do so many shows, especially cartoons, end or get canceled after 13 episodes. Its like it really is the unlucky number for shows. More often than not, if a show is canceled early on, it's right after episode 13. Why is that?Quantom X
I've been trying to find this movie for months now, I don't know much because it was a while ago when I saw it, on TV, but it's about a girl who gets pregnant and her musician boyfriend leaves her. She ends up going to live I think with her family on a farm, and while she is there a guy shows up, and I think that she likes him. They draw her belly each month, and after she has the baby she starts running with her/her, and at the end of the movie she is on a rooftop with the guy - that's all I know!Emiir65
I've been trying to find this film I watched ages ago and can't remember the name. A strange boy and a good girl fall for one another during study period, they get really close and tell each other everything. His dad and big brother abuses him and his little brother and sister. One dies at the end I think.Ellie Smith
I'm looking for an older movie similar to Miracle on 34th Street where some guy picks up a trash bag and it becomes Santa's bag. When anyone else picks up the bag it is just a trash bag. It might even have been a Twilight Zone episode. Thank you in advance for any help.Sajoe1
I remember watching a movie where a man comes to a village and saves it from an oncoming army by teaching the villagers and setting traps. There are two scenes I remember from the movie: 1) The woman offers the man a gift, but he never accepts gifts because it is against his teaching. However, he accepts her gift because he loves her. I think it was shoes. 2) The woman who gave the gift is in a cell underground and the man is trying to find her to save her. She ends up drowning just as he arrives. If this sounds familiar, please answer!
There's a movie I watched half way through. I never got the title. It had two gentlemen, young and old. The young man knocks on the old man's door, which is opened. He is having an affair with the old man's wife and in love. The whole movie it was just the two of them in the house. Please help what's the title, I want to look for it and see what happens at the end?
I want to find title of a black and white British movie with the following plot: upper class Englishman visits a farm and meets a beautiful farm girl. Falls in love but then leaves and marries an upper class English woman but no children ensue. Later the Englishman returns to the village farm to see what happened to his earlier love, and finds that the girl has died but left a son. He meets the son but does not reveal that his is the father. This film was probably made in the 50s.
I'm looking for a movie about a dark skinned lady who seems to have a mental illness and meets a girl online. That girl that she met sent her some photos of herself. Her said to be "brother" (he is actually the husband of the online girl) goes to the lady's home and wants to converse with her. The lady thinks he is a therapist and refuses to let him in. Eventually he gets inside. Later in the movie the lady handcuffs the man to her couch. She wants to get to know his "sister" and asks him questions. One of the questions is how his "sister" smells. He says she smells like rosemary. The "sister" ends up committing suicide by jumping in front of a train.
I remember a film from when I was around 7-8 years old (I'm 19 now) and it involves a group of kids who go to a summer camp or something. There's one boy who isn't with them, but goes there and takes them all out of the camp one by one. There's also some sort of weird military guy who's the camp leader if I remember correctly. The only other part of the film I remember is the coach ride to the camp and all the kids sing that song "I know a song that'll get on your nerves." Please help!Josh Williams
