Continuity mistake: During the Grand National, the leading horse unseats its rider at the third fence (jockey with pink and black spots), but just a few minutes later the same horse and jockey combination are back up with the pace.
Bob Champion: There are different sorts of courage. Fighting is the lion's courage, but running is the courage of a horse. Running and jumping. A horse will do anything for you, if he's genuine and he loves you.
Trivia: The valet is played by John Buckingham, who rode Foinavon to victory in the 1967 Grand National.
