Continuity mistake: When Dean goes to the hospital, the police officer hands him a large manilla envelope containing the photos of Annie/Joanna. Dean folds the envelope in half, pressing it together firmly, then shoves it into a jacket pocket. Later, when Dean gives the photos to Billy, the envelope is flat and the pictures are in mint condition - no bends or wrinkles.

Joanna, a spoilt rich girl, hires a carpenter called Dean to make a closet for her yacht while it's stuck in port. He makes a really cool one, but she says that she wanted a different kind of wood and refuses to pay.
In the night, Joanna falls off the yacht and is picked up by the coast guard the next day- but she has lost her memory. Her husband hears about it, but, as he doesn't really like her and only married her for her money, he denies knowing her.
Dean hears about it and decides to get revenge by pretending that he's her husband, and makes her come cook, clean and take care of his three sons.
She actually turns out to be really cool, and the kids want her to stay, so even though Dean feels bad, he doesn't tell her the truth, because they're getting along so well.
Then, her husband shows up, but that's going into the ending...

Question: When Dean and Annie are at the restaurant/bar, they go outside and with plastic wine type glasses Dean pours some champagne in their glasses. When Annie picks up her glass, the bottom comes off. She says, Oh I lost my bottom! Was that in the script or was it a blooper? I've always felt it was a blooper and if it was Annie covered it so well. Thanks.

Answer: Goldie Hawn mentioned in an interview that it was a blooper. She explained that she and Kurt Russell are so comfortable with one another that it wasn't really like acting, and she reacted naturally.
