3,000 Miles to Graceland

Trivia: In the scene where the biker gang pulls up next to the 59 Caddy, look closely at the Caddy's license plate. It says '3KMTG', 3000 miles to Graceland.

Trivia: The detectives mention that only two of the claimants to be Elvis's children were found to possibly have a case. One of these applicants was Kevin Costner's character. When Zane (Kurt Russell) gets to his boat he says it's the only thing his Daddy gave him - and we see Zane moving a gold record. Was he the other claimant?

Trivia: Kevin Costner kills the guy driving the "Wombat Wagon" to/from Canada. The driver identifies the wombat as a small animal - like a hedgehog. As far as I know the wombat is unique to Australia, and it is about the size and weight of a decent-sized pig.

Trivia: Kurt Russell has some interesting connections with Elvis Presley. In an early scene, the boy kicks Kurt in the leg, this is almost exactly the same way a then ten-year-old Russell kicked the real Presley in a scene from "It Happened At The World's Fair" (1963). In 1979, Russell went on to star in the made-for-TV movie "Elvis."

Factual error: Although you'd have to actually live in Boise to catch the myriad of differences from the movie town, the most glaring is that the movie Boise appears to be a lush rainforest, like Vancouver or Seattle. The real Boise is strictly desert, and you won't find those green interstate medians anywhere near here.
