Continuity mistake: When the "real footage" is shown of the man on the bed, the time starts on the camera at 11:01:24 and ends at 11:01:47. The clip returns to the Hollywood actors and then returns to another clip of the so-called real footage. As you can see, the time started over at 11:01:12. And for a third time the footage starts at 11:01:34, all on the same date of October 4, 2000. Possibly because of the supernatural? Seems more like Hollywood screwed up making "real events". 9.3/10.An interesting sci fi movie. Milla (formerly Jovovich) Anderson proves her range beyond that of the action adventure genre. Here as Dr Abigail Tyler she delves into cases of three patients who claim to have gone through alien abduction.Whether or not these actually happened I found irrelevant. The idea here for the movie was intriguing with good acting by everyone especially Milla and Elias Koteas. If you like sci fi movies and Milla Anderson movies then this is one for you.
Abbey Tyler: An encounter in the first kind, that's when you see a UFO. The second kind is when you see evidence of it: crop circles, radiation. The third kind is when you make contact. But the fourth kind, there's nothing more frightening than the fourth. You see, that one is when they abduct you.
Trivia: In a deleted scene, we are shown so-called "actual footage" from when a lone police officer is staking out the Tyler residence. In the beginning of the scene, another voice shouts "Action!" before anyone moves. If this was actual footage from the police car's dashboard camera, who is doing the shouting?
