Continuity mistake: When the boys are sneaking in to take the pictures of Payne, the first time you see him in bed the clock says it's 4-something. When they come back and get the boy in the dress in the bed, the clock says 12-something.
Major Payne stars Damon Wayans in the title role as a gun-ho Marine who, once peace is declared in South America, is sent home to start over. He arrives at a school to teach JROTC to a bunch of unlucky kids and, in a few short weeks, makes it miraculously work! Some silly moments here and there along with some violence and degradation, but the plot sticks with the tough soldier guy until the end. It's OK if you enjoy barracks, salutes, etc. with a dash of humor. Fall in, people.
Cadet Stone: If I'm the new squad leader, then my first order is to SCREW YOU, SIR!
Major Payne: What'd you say to me turd?
Cadet Stone: Why don't you go back to hell where you came from?
Major Payne: Boy, I am five seconds from being on you like white on rice with a glass of milk on a paper plate in a snowstorm. I'll put my foot so far up your ass the water on my knee will quench your thirst.
Cadet Stone: Try it.
Question: Would Cadets Woliger and Fox have actually been able to attend a military academy, considering that Woliger has heart problems and Fox is deaf?
