Continuity mistake: During the shoot-out at the Guggenheim, each of the assailants is using so many bullets that they would have needed huge bags to carry all the magazines.

Jacob La Cour

Visible crew/equipment: You can see the microphone mirroring in the window of the car, when the two agents are leaving the taxi in Milan. (00:29:50)

Factual error: Even if the bullets were full metal jackets, the passing through Calvini's head and then the wooden column would deform them so the exit hole would be larger than the entry hole.

Jacob La Cour

Continuity mistake: When we see Calvini get shot the second time, the bullet holes in the column behind him do not match the bullet holes when Sallinger examines them.

Continuity mistake: In the very beginning, when Owen's friend is talking to the man in the black Audi, the parked car's steering wheel changes position.

Continuity mistake: The picture from the security camera, which shows the assassin leaving Milan, says it was on 24th of November 2008. The picture at JFK Airport is dated 24th November 2007. (00:52:10 - 00:54:45)

Continuity mistake: The chase scene (which doesn't last 5 hours) starts when midday prayers are called, but by the end of it you can see the sun is on the horizon.

Continuity mistake: When Skaressen's meeting at the mosque started, we heard prayer calls from the mosque in the background. Right before Sallinger shoots Skarssen, we hear prayer calls again. They do not come that often.

Jacob La Cour

Factual error: If the two snipers were placed in the same building right on top of each other, and as far away from the target as we see, the difference in the angle of the two bullet trajectories would be very small. The difference shown by the plastic sticks would - at that long distance - mean a huge difference in height.

Jacob La Cour

Continuity mistake: When we see Calvini get shot, the bullet holes in the column are almost right behind his head, at head height above the floor. But when Sallinger examines the bullet holes in the column, they are just above the floor.

Jacob La Cour

Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the movie, a man gets out of a car and walks toward a street while talking on a phone; he then starts to grab his upper left arm while vomiting. Before he falls to the ground, notice that there is a very noticeable amount of vomit on his chin. In the next shot his chin is almost spotless. (00:03:10 - 00:04:05)

Factual error: There is not such a large souq (Arabic market area) in close walking distance to the Blue Mosque of Istanbul.

Jacob La Cour

Louis Salinger: Sometimes you find your destiny on the road you took to avoid it.
