The Messengers

The house IS the souls of Burwell's family murdered by him in a violent rage...after he caught them trying to leave him. When he goes after the current family (mistaking them for his own), his murdered offspring drag him down into a marsh...burying him alive.

Visible crew/equipment: At the end of the film when the emergency cars have arrived, as the camera backs away from the blinking light, you can easily see the camera on a crane backing away in the reflection of the glass light.

Question: Why does the man at the beginning want to buy the house so badly? The movie never explains it.
