Continuity mistake: When Amanda and Daniel entered the bathroom from 'Saw', Adam's body is shown with his right leg shackled. However, in 'Saw' and in Amanda's flashback in 'Saw III', his left leg is shackled.

Trivia: When Jigsaw and Eric escape the lair via a hidden elevator, the film's low budget prevented the construction of an actual working elevator. Thus, some trick photography and editing was implemented. For the first shot of Jigsaw and Eric "going down", the scene was shot by raising the camera vertically to give the impression they were descending. For the next wide shot, simple digital effects were added to make it appear that the room was "lowering." And for the final shot where we see the top of the elevator going down an elevator shaft, stock footage from the film "Hollow Man" was used.

Question: At the end of the film, when they go back into the bathroom from the first, I noticed that they had shown 2 people. They showed the man from the first, chained to the piped in the corner. And then they showed a face of someone on the floor. Who was this?

Sir William

Answer: It was Zep, but he died because Adam smashed his head with a toilet seat cover.

Chosen answer: It was Zep, the guy from the first film that jigsaw used to kidnap the doctor's wife and kid. He went down to the room at the end of the first film, then got shot, so ended up dead down there too.
