Question: What has happened by the time the police footage is shown? After Erin escaped and killed the "Sheriff", police footage of the area is then shown (at the beginning as well), such as the police collecting evidence and filming a walk-through, as if the house has been abandoned for years, but it's only a day after. What has happened to the rest of the Hewitt family (Luda May, Monty, Tea Lady etc.), with the exception of Leatherface who escaped? How did the police only find out about the Hewitts then?
Question: Who is Jedidiah? Where did he come from and Why isn't he in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning?
Question: It's not a mistake (it says so in the corrections page) but when the blond guy has his leg cut off he is wearing a shoe and sock on the other foot. WHY when he's in the basement is he barefoot? Is he meant to have taken off his footwear or was it leatherface?
Question: Near the end, when Erin saves that nerdy guy (forgot his name) after they are chased into that little cottage and they are hiding, Erin gets attacked and the nerdy guy runs into Leatherface which causes him to drop his Chainsaw. Erin who was previously pinned-down by him gets up and starts trying to punch him. Did she never think to use the Chainsaw which was on the ground?Azureth
Question: There is one thing that bothered me at the end of the movie. When the two police investigators are killed and the narrator says that the case is still open why didn't the authorities (police, FBI and so on), descend on that area and try to catch Leatherface? He just killed two police officers among other people and they are just going to leave it as an open case?Tobin OReilly
Question: Is Leatherface based on a real person? If so, how close did they stick to the source material? Did he wear other peoples faces?
Question: Does anyone know if the police file videos shown at the start and end are real, or were they made for the movie?
