Corrected entry: This is the first movie where Jason speaks. Just after he throws the table and walks towards Freddy, you can hear Jason whisper the word "die" at least four times as he walks.
Corrected entry: During the first fight scene between Freddy and Jason in the dream world, Jason tosses Freddy into some pipes which causes water to spray everywhere. When Jason is about to attack Freddy and stops to back away from the water, it is explained that Jason is "afraid" of the water. While logical on paper, this makes absolutely no sense with the rest of the Friday the 13th movies and an earlier scene in Freddy vs. Jason. Jason has on many occasions ventured freely into Crystal Lake to kill his victims in earlier movies, and in this movie he walks all the way to Elm Street in the pouring rain. Surely if he was afraid of water he'd not have completely submerged himself in a lake, and would have taken shelter under a tree until the rain storm passed.
Corrected entry: Jason looks different here. This takes place after Jason Goes To Hell where he had bloodied hot pink skin, silver welded on hockey mask, dark blue boiler suit. Yet here he's wearing tattered clothes with black gloves, the original looking hockey mask, and is black skinned just like he was in Friday Part 6.
Corrected entry: In the end scene (spoiler) Freddy stabs BOTH of Jason's eyes, obviously blinding him. Yet throughout the rest of the fight Jason knows accurately where Freddy is, even in the final end where he uses his glove against him. Also, when he sinks away you see one eye staring up as he dies.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Jason is on fire at the rave, one kid is throwing cups of beer on him while he is on fire. Jason then swings his machete at the kid who dodges it, instead hitting the keg which sprays the fire out. Jason then turns towards the camera after the fire is out. You then see the same kid in the background shaking and gurgling as though he was cut.
Corrected entry: In "Jason Goes to Hell", it is stated that all the cabins at Camp Crystal Lake were torn down. Yet in this movie we see many of them, and Freddy and Jason even fight in one.
Corrected entry: When the kid wakes up and his father is sitting beside him with his neck chopped on the porch of his house, the kid hears a noise in the bushes. As he walks towards them, we get a shot of the bushes moving - if you look to the right of the bushes, the shadow of someone shaking them is visible. (00:18:35)
Corrected entry: In the final fight, when Freddy is knocked off the construction site and is hanging by his foot, in one shot his hat has fallen off his head, but when the camera changes back to him when hes swinging his hat is back on his head.
Corrected entry: Mark is trapped in his dream and at the window yelling for help, then he is slashed across the face by an invisible Freddy. Will and Lori look across the room, and in the mirror they see the reflection of "Freddy's Back" burned into a dead Mark's skin. Freddy would have had to have written the words backwards, in order for them to see it correctly.
Corrected entry: When Jason throws Linderman against the wall, the metal spike that stabs him isn't there. But it is there (obviously) when he gets stabbed by it. It's also not there when Jason is in that corner about to drag Freddy through the windows.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Jason comes out of the cornfield and starts killing the ravers, he kills a boy with a hat on by slashing through his chest. A few shots later you see Jason killing the same boy again from a different angle.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Freddy is about to kill the girl hiding in the locker, he is hanging upside down. This shot has been reversed. His glove is on the wrong hand. It should be on his right hand but it's actually on his left.
Corrected entry: When the four teens are running away from the burning cabin in Crystal Lake, where Jason and Freddy keep fightning, you can see some crew member's arm in the frame of the main door.
Corrected entry: The house on Elm street (where the first Jason murder takes place) is supposed to be the same one as in the original, Yet there is no small window type peep hole on the front door.
Corrected entry: Whatever damage Freddy inflicts on you in the dream world happens in the real world. Well, Freddy clawed Jason's mask in the dream world, but his mask in the real world is never damaged.
Corrected entry: When Freddy has Jason in his nightmare world and drops the big machine from the ceiling on him, look closely. Jason's body vanishes right before it hits but is back underneath it in the next scene.
