Plot hole: All pilots are carefully trained and have the technology to secretly transmit a code that tells air traffic control there is a hijacking in progress, without having to say a word. They also have a hijack code, something that sounds completely innocuous to you or me, but would be instantly recognisable to the airport authorities.
Continuity mistake: Still before the hijacking, Pinball is talking to his left neighbor, sitting in the same row. In one shot, from the left, they both sit next to each other, in the same row. In a shot thereafter, Pinball has his head turned left and is talking to his "neighbor", but there is nobody. The guy sits in the row behind. (00:18:40)
Suggested correction: I see what you see, but look again. When the shot changes, the angle kind of does give the impression that Pinball is talking to an empty seat. The perspective makes it seem like the headrest is next to Pinball, but it isn't. The headrest is from the row in front of them, which is empty. Pinball and his neighbor are in the same row in all shots.
Revealing mistake: When Pinballs is squeezed in between the landing-gear door and the fuselage/landing-gear, you can see in the face that it's a dummy. (00:53:35)
Suggested correction: That absolutely looks like Dave Chappelle and not a dummy.
Character mistake: When Cyrus and Johnny-23 are talking they both pronounce the Spanish version of Johnny-23's name as Juaniyo. That is not how Johnny is pronounced in Spanish. It is pronounced Juanito with a T. Normally I would have chalked it up as a language barrier but Danny Trejo is of Spanish ancestry. He should have known better. (00:20:41)
Suggested correction: "Juanillo" is another, though less common, diminutive of Juan.
I can appreciate you doing a google search but you would have noticed in your google search that the Juanillo you speak or is predominantly an Asian name and is not a translation of Johnny in Spanish. I am Spanish and can assure you that it was a mistake as Juanito is the correct pronunciation. Thank you for doing your due diligence however he was not playing the role if an Asian.
It should be pointed out that there's a town in Mexico called Juanillo and Juanillo Beach is in the Dominican Republic. So it is a word Hispanic and Latinos might be aware of.
Don't know why the previous guy said that Juanillo is not a common name in Spain... I am Spanish and know 2 guys that go by the name Juanillo. I would say that not only Juanillo and Juanito, but also Juanele are commonly used in Spain and probably Latin America as well.
Continuity mistake: When the Poe family is reunited, Trisha can be seen holding on to Casey in the close-up. When Casey hugs Cameron in the wide shot, Trisha is not holding her.
Suggested correction: She pulled away from her mom and went to her dad.
Plot hole: The Jailbird is supposed to be state of the art super max facility, but the guards don't scan the prisoners for pins, which some of the prisoners use to escape from their handcuffs.
Suggested correction: Cyrus had a pin inserted into his hand. There is no way to scan for that. Pinball had something in his stomach. They had concealed their means of escape very well. Not even a plot hole if they didn't scan for it anyway, just a human mistake to not see something that is concealed.
Suggested correction: When you have a gun at your head and your life being threatened, you're not thinking. So no mistake that he was too scared to even think of giving the code.

Absolute rubbish. It is precisely under those circumstances that a pilot would resort to the emergency code. Do you think hijackers try to talk the pilots into doing what they say?"Take this plane to Cuba or I will call you some nasty names!" Really? Pilots are meticulously trained to respond with the emergency code while under the most stressful and threatening conditions.
Not all pilots are that brave. Unless you can speak for every pilot on earth, then you're just making an assumption on how ALL pilots will act in this situation.
