Deliverance (1972)

Plot summary

(7 votes)

Burt Reynolds stars as Lewis Medlock, an outdoorsman who along with his close friends go on a rafting trip to witness the Cahulawassee River before it becomes nothing but a huge lake. However, they soon discover that the American Back Country is as dangerous as it is beautiful, ecspecially after they run into some of the locals who dont't intend on giving them a warm welcome...

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Lewis and Ed are in the canoe after setting up camp and Lewis is bowfishing while Ed is drinking beer, Lewis shoots a trout. You can clearly see the arrow hit the fish just behind its head in a close-up shot. When Lewis pulls the fish in, the arrow is through the middle of the fish's body.
