Continuity mistake: After Bond gets down from the Eiffel Tower to chase May Day he steals a car. While Bond is driving down the stairs you can clearly see a Red sticker or decal on the right side of the car. After the car is cut in half it is not there. (00:19:05 - 00:20:00)

Revealing mistake: When May Day jumps off the Eiffel Tower, a long ramp can be seen suspended at the top of the Tower. It was obviously needed to give the stuntman a sufficient run-up so that he flew clear of the structure. (00:18:10)

Continuity mistake: When the bearded security guard attempts to punch Bond in Zorin's warehouse, Bond moves out of the way and the guard makes a hole in the crate. In the next shot, when several crates fall on the guard knocking him out, Bond has suddenly disappeared, and the hole in the crate that the guard has made is bigger than it was. (00:38:45)

Continuity mistake: When Bond is using the tyre valve to breathe underwater, "Michelin" is spelled out in white on the tire but all previous shots of the car show blackwall tyres. (00:51:35)

Continuity mistake: During the chase between Bond and May Day on the Eiffel Tower, May Day turns around and whips a fishing line at Bond which sends him sprawling over the rail. When he is suspended upside down halfway over the railing you can see his legs are wide apart, but when he regains his balance and starts to unwind the line, his legs are now bound together. Plot hole: When Bond and Tibbett break into the underground lab and find the device which drugs the racehorses, you can see that it has a large light emitting diode (LED) on the top of it. What possible use would that be, since the device is implanted in the horse's leg, and is supposed to be covert? (00:37:20)

Continuity mistake: When Bond is knocked off the snowmobile near the beginning, he falls face down next to the snowmobile skid, not moving. After a brief cut away, we then see him lifting himself up from a face-up sitting position. He's had no time to move himself that way. (00:03:05)

Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film when Bond and Mayday are trapped in the water rushing into the mine, her hairdo is totally drenched when her entire head is submerged and her wet, straightened hair falls onto her forehead. The next scene, when they are walking through the water and debris, her hair is beautifully sculpted as it has been through the entire film. (01:54:20)

Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Roger Moore is driving the stolen firetruck he passes a gas station. When he hits the sign of the gas station you can clearly see a whole camera rig on the side of the truck. (01:32:20)

Continuity mistake: When Bond chases May Day up the Eiffel Tower, she throws the fishing rod at him and the wire wraps around his legs. As he falls down he has the gun in his hand. The next shot his hands are free and he is untying the wire. The next shot he has the gun in his hand. At no point does he put the gun down and pick it up. (00:17:40)

Revealing mistake: When Bond pushes on of the man that is attacking the house, you can see that the bannister is pre-cut and the parts are attached with some kind of hooks. (01:13:00)

Revealing mistake: During the car chase in San Francisco, Bond knocks off the hats of two men sitting in a white Cadillac when he is hanging from the ladder of the fire truck. You can tell this image is reversed as the steering wheel is on the right hand side of the car, and cars in the United States have steering wheels on the left hand side. (01:32:10)

Character mistake: When Bond and Stacey are in the file room in San Francisco City Hall, Bond pulls out the Division of Mines Paperwork on Zorin's wells and it has "HAYWOOD" written across it. The actual fault is spelled "HAYWARD." (01:21:40)

Visible crew/equipment: During the pursuit scene in San Francisco, there's a long shot where the fire truck passes in front of the camera just before the two police cars get separated. During that shot, you can see a camera crew on the top of the truck, in front of the ladder. (01:31:40)
