Continuity mistake: When Sylvester sees his son in his bedroom at the lady's house, you can see the bottom window frame is coloured white, but when Sylvester jumps off the bed, the frame is now yellow.

Continuity mistake: When Sylvester is searching for food at the dump, his son gives him some bones and fish. The number of bones has increased when Sylvester is sitting at the table.

Continuity mistake: When Sylvester is dealing out the bones to his son and himself at the end of the cartoon, you can see there are bones on their plates, but after a quick cut to the lady, we return to Sylvester and his son, and the bones have disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When Sylvester Junior sees the house he wants to live in, you can see there is nothing on the front door, but when he arrives at the door, there is now a handle on it.

Continuity mistake: During the lunch scene at the dump, you can see there is a spoon by Sylvester Junior's plate when Sylvester deals out the food. In the next shot, the spoon has disappeared, and in the shot after that, it is back again.

Revealing mistake: When the lady throws Sylvester through the window, you can see there is a bump on Sylvester's head before he hits the tree.
