The X-Men franchise has finally come to an end with the release of Dark Phoenix. If you're rewatching the movies, keep an eye out for these bits and pieces which you might have missed the first time around...
During the last half hour of the movie, when the four X-Men are leaving in the jet, Logan says, "You actually go outside in these things?" to which Cyclops replies, "Well, what would you prefer, yellow spandex?" In the comics, Logan's outfit is yellow spandex.
During the scene in the bar with Mystique and the prison guard, the person on the TV is Dr. Hank McCoy - this is the real name of X-Man The Beast.
In the scene where Mystique is going through the files on Lady Deathstrike's computer to find the guard's profiles, one of the guards is director Bryan Singer (he's listed as "Singer, B").
Bryan Singer is the guard who initially rolls Xavier into the guard room in the glass wheelchair before passing him off to the other guards.
When Jean and Storm are in the church, and Nightcrawler is lying down, watch very closely for the back of Jean's leather coat. We catch a brief glimpse of it - a bird that looks remarkably like a Phoenix.
Mystique transforms into a blonde woman to seduce the security guard. This blonde woman is actually the normal appearance of Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, who plays Mystique. It's the only time we see her without the blue makeup until she's depowered in X-Men 3.
Longtime X-Men writer Chris Claremont appears with a lawnmower in the Grey's neighborhood at the beginning of the film.
Stan Lee makes a cameo appearance in the beginning of the movie when Jean is being recruited and showing off her powers. He is the man holding a hosepipe.
Len Wein, who created the character of Wolverine, has a cameo as one of the Senators that turn down Bolivar Trask's sentinel project.
When Magneto gets his helmet back there are two more items in the room, the suit of Havok and one wing of Angel, both from X-Men: First Class.
Director Bryan Singer has a cameo as one of the photographers on hand when Mystique jumps out of the building after she attempts to kill Bolivar Trask.
Logan's apartment in 1973 contains references to his connection with Japan in The Wolverine - there is a picture of Mount Fuji on the wall, as well as several Samurai swords.
A life-size model of a Sentinel was constructed for the film - Bryan Singer tweeted a photo of himself beside it.
When Magneto takes back his helmet from the Department of Defence, to its left you can also see the coin he executed Sebastian Shaw with.
Wade Wilson is on the "Dead Pool", seen briefly at the back of the bar, but so are various celebrities, such as Bill Cosby, Kanye West, and Charlie Sheen. Perhaps most notable are Ryan Reynolds and TJ Miller, stars of the movie.
The two rednecks sitting on the back of the pick up truck when Cable arrives are played by Alan Tudyk and Matt Damon, whose makeup took 4 hours to apply.
At the start of the scene where Deadpool and Weasel are recruiting the X-Force, they are looking at photographs of the applicants. The first photo shown is of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court. A closer look at the photo will show that her superhero name is Notorious R.B.G.
