Continuity mistake: When Mrs. Otterton is in Chief Bogo's office holding her family photo with both paws, in the wideshots her purse is hanging in the crook of her left arm, but after a brief shot of Judy, when it cuts to Mrs. Otterton's closeup as she tells Bogo about her two beautiful children her purse is gone, then after another brief shot of Judy the purse is back in its place again in the wideshot.Super Grover
Continuity mistake: When Carol, the MLI employee, is first seen carrying the white bucket in the corridor and also when Carol thinks she located Hank, the bucket has absolutely no writing on it where the handle's attached on both sides, but when Dory looks down at the bucket suddenly "Destiny" is written on it.Super Grover
Plot hole: There's no way that Eddie and Nana left the flooded theater without getting a single drop of water on them. The water flooded up to the ceiling and there's no other way to exit besides the front doors, and Moon's secret exit, which also floods. They do not leave through either way.ryderpoints
Continuity mistake: In an early scene with Scrat on board the alien space ship, he accidentally increases the artificial gravity, and there is a control panel indicator with the word "GRAVITY" in English. In a later scene when the ship is out of control and a danger warning flashes in front of him, it's written in an alien language.
Revealing mistake: Towards the end of the movie, the principal puts on his hat which turns his hair green. But you can see the green paint has already been applied before he puts his hat on.
Factual error: When Tripp enters the garage and we see his truck in progress, he states that the truck will have 425 horsepower. The Hemi pulled out of the Terravex truck is not a 6.4L Hemi (only a 5.7L Hemi) and even if it was a 6.4, they only produced 410 horsepower in the heavy duty trucks. The 5.7L Hemi makes 375 horsepower in the trucks and 390 horsepower in the cars.
Continuity mistake: Shortly after the start of the film, the heroine meets with the Mother Superior of the orphanage that she is staying at, and just behind her is the cockeyed supervisor, M. Luteau. During the scene he disappears abruptly to allow for a pan out of the property, far too fast for him to have merely walked away.Erik M.
