Other mistake: Eddie comes to see Tom at the bathroom clean-up job and convinces Tom to confide in him. Eddie tells Tom that he'll, "See what Wallace knows". There is no character named "Wallace" - he was supposed to say "Vargas", the investigator on the case. The subtitles correctly reference Vargas.Brenda Elzin
Other mistake: In Saw II, Jigsaw shares a story with Detective Matthews about how he attempted suicide after his cancer diagnosis by driving his car off a cliff. We then see Jigsaw pulling a metal rod out of the left side of his stomach. However, no puncture wound/scarring is visible on Jigsaw's stomach when his autopsy is being performed. (00:00:50)Phaneron
Other mistake: During the chase scene on the highway, when Sam says, "It's the same cop," they pan to a wide shot to show the whole freeway with the cars on it. All of the vehicles are on the wrong side of the freeway. When looking out of the back of his car, you can see the fronts of all of the cars coming towards the camera, and you can see the text on the signs facing the camera as well. You can also see crowds on the flyover, watching the filming. (01:50:05)
Other mistake: At the beginning of the New York chase sequence where Bourne is walking down the street, you can see an Asian man smiling right into the camera for a second.
Other mistake: In the scene where Dr. Isaacs is in the teleconference with the Umbrella Board of Directors, there are several glasses of water sitting in front of each individual hologram. At the end of the teleconference, the holograms of the board members disappear, but none of the glasses follow suit. This tells us that the glasses of water were physically in the room with Dr. Isaacs, for absolutely no reason, given all the other attendees weren't really there.
Other mistake: The case of money is in the complete opposite physical orientation when Moss retrieves it from the air duct in room 38. When Llewelyn Moss hides the money in the air duct from room 138, he pushes it to the end of the ductwork with the closet rod and then pushes it to the left with the top of the case and handle going in first and the bottom slightly sticking out. So the top of the case (with the handle) appears to be pointing left in looking at it from 138. When he pulls off the grill in room 38 the next day we can see the top and handle protruding on the right side of the air duct (handle facing left, as he peers into the ductwork). Since we know from the motel room map, that room 38 is directly behind 138, with common rear wall, the top of the case and handle should be facing the right, (from a visual perspective), as you look into the ductwork from room 38 - and it is not.
Other mistake: During the battle in the cavern, the (almost) bald Indian Warrior helping Ghost is stabbed by a Viking and dies in Ghost's hands. When Ghost kills the Viking and continues on, you can see the Indian Warrior still breathing. (Timecode refers to the European Extended Edition). (01:01:55 - 01:02:55)
Other mistake: There's a scene where they turn a wheel to control the flow of water into a much larger chamber. The cavern that is presumably completely filled with water (water is dripping off the ceiling) is massive. The flow from the smaller chamber into the cavern is relatively small. They enter moments after stopping the flow to find the cavern is drained. It should A) either take the cavern a very long time to drain or B) the cavern should never have been fully filled with water.
Other mistake: When the bunch of soldiers find Dr. Paul Foster, one of them removes the doctor's briefcase from the crack in his skull. In this scene, Foster's eyes are open and seem to be red. Before and after this scene, when you can see the eyes, they are clear white. The briefcase doesn't have any trace of blood on it, though it was in the bloody skull crack. The blood looks too reddish. If it is some hours old, it should look darker. (00:34:10)
Other mistake: About a third of the way into the film when Nick leaves school and is running home he gets hit by a car and run over by a truck. Before both events the vehicles horns can be heard, as if the drivers are warning Nick to get out of the road. If Nick was invisible there would be no reason for them to honk their horns at all.nap
